Sky Fantasy Gameweek 11 Expert Team Reveal

With the deadline inching closer we take a look at a Sky Fantasy Gameweek 11 expert team reveal. Fantasy Football Scout contributor @FFScout_Tom comes in to share his team and explain the rationale behind some of his selections and thoughts.

Which defenders should we pick? Which strikers should be making our squads? Our expert could help bring clarity to the decisions you have to make in your own team to give you an edge over your competition with his Sky Fantasy Gameweek 11 expert team reveal.

Introduction

The action continued apace with plenty of points on offer in GW10. In the following article, I will review the weekend just gone and look ahead to GW11 in Sky Fantasy Football.

GW10 Review

I’m slowly and steadily moving up the ranks after another solid gameweek. Overall, 105 points meant a green arrow up to 7.8K. Everyone in my team got something apart from Bowen. The standouts were Saliba (C), Salah (C), Haaland and Tsimikas who returned 11 points. He’s been brilliant value at just £7.2m, returning 18 points in two games with plenty of good fixtures to come. I’d recommend looking at him this Sunday if you need a defender.

On Sunday I made one transfer, Thiago Silva to Jarrod Bowen. In hindsight, this move may have been a mistake, especially with Chelsea’s single game day on Christmas Eve. However, I’m not too regretful with West Ham also having a single gameday (more on that later) and better fixtures in the medium term. Additionally, I do have concerns about Silva’s ability to play back-to-back games over Christmas.

GW11 Transfers and Captains

Looking ahead to this weekend, it looks like a fairly straightforward week for captaincy. All being well, I’ll be putting my armband on the big three: Haaland (BOU) on Saturday, Salah (lut) on Sunday and Son (CHE) on Monday. Should anything untoward crop up, I’ve got pretty solid backups in Bowen (bre), Watkins (nfo) and Maddison (CHE) respectively.

As mentioned above, I’m looking to save transfers now. I’ve got none planned this weekend and hopefully, I won’t have to make any for a few weeks. However, I’m sure some injuries and suspensions will crop up, as they always do!

Notes

Away from my team, the festive TV schedule has been finalised since last week’s article there are a few single game days to keep in mind over the holiday season:

15th Dec: Nottingham Forest v Spurs
21st Dec: Crystal Palace v Brighton
22nd Dec: Aston Villa v Sheffield Utd
24th Dec: Wolves v Chelsea
1st Jan: Liverpool v Newcastle
2nd Jan: West Ham v Brighton

It’s worth planning and getting your captains in place. Luckily for many, there are lots of popular players in the teams above like Dunk, Watkins, Bowen etc. There’s a while to go yet but something to keep in mind!

Thanks for reading and good luck for the upcoming gameweek. Remember to set your captains and plan your transfers!
