Introduction

We’re in the business end of the season now with a cracking title race and it’s no different in Fantasy! In this article, I’ll review the Gameweek just gone and look ahead to the weekend in Sky Fantasy Football, enjoy!

GW33 Review:

It was another decent weekend as most of the template players continued to tick over. My main gain came on Sunday, captaining Mo Salah over Cole Palmer paid off after he added a late penalty to his Tier Two Shots. I made one transfer, selling Jarrod Bowen after his injury for Alexis Mac Allister. He rewarded me with a Tackle Tier. Elsewhere, Haaland scored, my double Arsenal defence came in again and Rodri continued his incredible season. Only Watkins has scored more points than the City midfielder now!

Overall, 89 points got me a small green arrow up to 52nd. I’m just enjoying the ride! It would be amazing to crack the Top 50 this weekend… fingers crossed!

GW33 Preview

Moving onto this weekend, it looks set to be a very busy one for transfers. Arsenal and Liverpool have a 4-for-0 over Spurs and 3-for-0s over Man City and Brighton. With two of the top teams enjoying such massive fixture gains, there really isn’t any excuse to miss out. As it stands I’ve got Salah, Van-Dijk, Mac Allister, Saliba and Raya. I’m almost certainly going to buy Gabriel and Saka. After that, I’ll probably do one more move and buy one of Luis Diaz or Ben White. I could do both, and may still do, but I’m conscious I’ll want to move most of my Arsenal/Liverpool players out around DGW37 due to gains elsewhere.

Covering off captaincy, it’s pretty straightforward in my opinion. Haaland (LUT) on Saturday, Salah (CRY) on Sunday and Palmer (EVE) on Monday. You couldn’t really ask for three more consistent assets. However, if you are looking for differentials, I’d consider Son (new) and Darwin (CRY).

Just to make you aware, a couple of Single Gamedays have dropped for GW36. Luton v Everton and Palace v Man Utd. For those with a GK issue, Pickford could be good buy on Monday.

Thanks for reading and good luck for GW33. Remember to finalise your teams and set your captains before Saturday’s 12.30 pm deadline!
