Gameweek 29 Best Free Hit Team

We use the LiveFPL.net to build the best free hit team. There, managers can also build wildcards, plan transfers and use other fantastic features.

Goalkeepers

Brentford come up against the worst playing attack this week, Burnley. Because of that and lack of clean sheet potential across the board this week Mark Flekken (£4.5m) could be the standout goalkeeper. In the unlikely event Flekken doesn’t feature West Ham’ Areola (£4.3m) can step in.

Defenders

The lack of clean sheet potential this week could mean backing defenders with attacking threat a wise move. One player that meets that criteria is Sergio Reguilon (£4.4m) who has racked up three assists in his last six matches. If confirmed out then teammate Mads Roerslev (£4.4m) could be an alternative option.

Joining Reguilon at the back is Tottenham’ Pedro Porro (£5.7m). Porro has been exceptional offensively this season. In fact, only one other defender has produced more attacking returns this season. He has also registered more attempts on goal than any other defender in the game this season.

Completing the back three is Alfie Doughty (£4.7m). Luton’ wing-back system allows Doughty to get into some very attacking areas. From those areas and corners Doughty has managed a cool eight assists this season. Luton also play at home against a side who have failed to score in any of their last three matches.

Unlikely to feature and sitting on the bench is Aston Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa (£4.5m) and Nottingham Forest’ Neco Williams (4.3m).

Midfielders

Fulham’ defensive inconsistency and Tottenham’ recent scoring form suggests that doubling up in attack could be hugely rewarding. Joining the standout pick Son Heung-Min (£9.9m) who takes penalties and collected a whopping 17 points in Gameweek 28 is James Maddison (£7.9m). Maddison is another safe option in terms of minutes but he has also returned in four of his last six league matches.

West Ham have a home match against Aston Villa this week who at least two goals in each of their last three matches. The Hammers have also notched up nine goals in their last three and their standout option is Jarrod Bowen (£7.9m). Since West Ham’ turn in form in the last three games, Bowen has picked up four attacking returns.

Completing the midfield four is Douglas Luiz (£5.7m). Luiz is the safer option in terms of minutes but he has also impressed recently in terms of output – hitting five goal contributions in their last six games. He also takes his sides penalties which gives him the edge over other midfield options this week.

First on the bench is Luton midfielder Ross Barkley (£5m). Luton have not failed to score in any of their last 10 matches and the home match could increase the appeal of attackers like Barkley.

Forwards

Leading every other player in the game for points this season so far is Ollie Watkins (9m). Watkins has been one of the most consistent and reliable assets in the game for both points and minutes and faces a West Ham who have shipped a massive 16 goals in their last six matches.

Spearheading the Brentford attack this week is penalty taker Ivan Toney (£8.1m). Toney faces a Burnley defence who have conceded the second most goals in the Premier League this season. The promoted side also continue to produce woeful defensive data.

The Luton attack has averaged close to two goals scored per game in the last six Gameweeks and they have a meeting with the inconsistent Nottingham Forest next. Carlton Morris (£5.2m) is the main man in terms of Hatters attacking options and he also takes the penalties.
