Expert team reveal for Sky Fantasy Gameweek 4

With the deadline inching closer we take a look at an expert team reveal for Sky Fantasy Gameweek 4. Fantasy Football Scout contributor @FFScout_Tom comes in to share his team and explain the rationale behind some of his selections and thoughts.

Which defenders should we pick? Which strikers should be making our squads? Our expert could help bring clarity to Sky Fantasy Gameweek 4 decisions you have to make in your own team to give you an edge over your competition.

Introduction

Another GW is done and dusted! Thankfully there were plenty more points knocking around than in GW2! Most of the popular picks returned and I posted a score of 102 points to move up to 17K with 47 transfers left.

GW3 Review

Unlike GW2, my Chelsea triple-up paid dividends with Jackson, Colwill and Thiago Silva (c) combining for 39 points on Friday night against Luton Town. It was encouraging that Colwill finally picked up a passing tier, however, his tier potential does look limited while he is playing the LB role in Pochettino’s system. If he wasn’t so cheap this would be more of a concern.

Going Saka captain over Rashford paid off on the Saturday as the Arsenal winger scored and returned a shot tier. I brought Dias in for Saliba on the Sunday for a five-point gain. Arsenal’s fixtures toughen up so I was happy to lose one of my assets and buy into Man City’s good fixture run.

GW4 Captains and Transfers

It’s time for Marvelous Nakamba to step up on Friday night as captain. The Luton man has made three tackles in both his games so far. I’ve got everything crossed for a tackle tier to make his initial selection in my team worth it. The captaincy Saturday is a no-brainer for me with Erling Haaland playing Fulham at home. Sunday is more difficult as I don’t own Mo Salah. The armband is currently on Bukayo Saka however Marcus Rashford and Sam Johnstone, who hosts Wolves, are making it a tricky decision.

Transfers-wise, my only planned move is moving Nakamba to Bissouma on Saturday. The Spurs player looks to have regular passing and tackle tiers in his locker, he’s very much a move with the long term in mind.

Remember to set those captains and good luck for GW4!
