Matchday 4 so far
Notes
- I am currently on 86 points going into the final day of Matchday 4.
- Denzel Dumfries was a huge success and as many within the game sold him ahead of USA, the rank gained from that was sizable.
- Other successes include Ivan Perisic, another player that wasn’t as heavily backed as I thought he would be.
- Many backed and stuck on captain Lionel Messi, where as I felt that Kylian Mbappe could easily surpass Messi’s seven points. Luckily he did.
- England’s Bukayo Saka proved, again, a fantastic asset after his 10-point haul.
- Richarlison’s return didn’t do much in terms of rank gain.
- Blanks from Enzo Fernandez and Theo Hernandez, and Borna Sosa not starting have helped make room for substitutes in Tuesday’s matches.
- Diogo Costa, Jordi Alba, Dani Olmo and Bruno Fernandes will all come on to replace those that blanked.
- My personal target for Matchday 4 is 100 points and looks feasible.
Current rank and target
My current rank stands at 2.6k but I still have players to play. It was a difficult start to my campaign however, I do think I have made up significant ground over the last two Matchdays. My overall target has always been to win and if not, then to finish amongst the top one thousand managers.
