Chelsea 5-0 Wrexham

Goals: Ian Maatsen (x2), Connor Gallagher (£5.5m), Ben Chilwell (£5.5m), Christopher Nkunku (£7.5m).

Assists: Nicolas Jackson (£7m), Carney Chukwuemeka (£4.5m), Raheem Sterling (£7m), Casadei and Angelo Gabriel (£5m).

Summary:

  • It was Mauricio Pochettino’s first match in charge and it ended with a victory.
  • Chelsea set up in a 4-2-3-1 for the first half and 3-4-3 in the second half.
  • Christopher Nkunku was quiet for most of the game but it was a cool finish from the striker towards the end of the match.
