Dominic Solanke v Luton

Bournemouth stumbled their way through the start of the season but recently they have been winning, four of the last five to be exact. They come up against Luton this week which is a great chance to extend that same form.

One player who had a great record against promoted sides last season was Dominic Solanke (£6.6m). As we can see below Solanke managed a massive 33 points against them last season. Those points came from three goals, two assists and nine bonus.

Raheem Sterling v Sheffield United

Chelsea will be hoping to turn their torrid form around this week. They come up against rock bottom Sheffield United in Gameweek 17. Raheem Sterling (£7.1m) failed to start the last match but is expected to return to the starting 11 this week and as we can see he could have massive potential.

When playing for Manchester City between 2019-2021 Sterling picked up a return in a huge nine of his 11 matches against promoted sides. Even at Chelsea last season Sterling racked up 25 points against them due to his three goals.

Martin Odegaard v Brighton

Arsenal have a meeting with Brighton next up. The Seagulls are yet to keep a single clean sheet this season. Brighton look like a team to target and Martin Odegaard (£8.3m) has a great recent record against them.

We can see that between 2020-2021 Odegaard played three matches against Brighton and returned in two of them. Last season Odegaard also managed a cool 15 points against them due to his goal and assist.

Mohamed Salah v Manchester United

Liverpool have a game against old rivals Manchester United this week. They have also scored at least three goals against them in four of their last five matches. Amongst those returns was Mohamed Salah (£13.2m). In the period below the Egyptian racked up a huge 60 points against them. His points came from a massive seven goals and two assists.

In addition, no player in the league returned more points than Salah against Manchester United last season. His 29 points consisted of three goals and two assists.

Jarrod Bowen v Wolves

West Ham will be hoping to bounce back after their massive 5-0 loss to Fulham in the last round. The Hammers will be as reliant as ever on Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) this week to spearhead a positive result.

Below we can see that in the five matches Bowen faced Wolves between 2019-2021 he bagged three goals. Last season Bowen also secured 16 points due to his goal and assist against them.
