FPL price reveals – 4th of July

Over the last three days Official FPL and the Premier League clubs themselves have been releasing the prices for some FPL assets. This morning Spurs have released 11 of their FPL prices for the new season. We assess today’s FPL price reveals.

Recent announcements from @OfficialFPL have assigned the following price tags for 2022/23:

Spurs

Official FPL have announced the prices for 11 Spurs players ahead of the new season. Harry Kane is priced at £11.5m with midfielder Son Heung-Min priced at £12m.

FPL Comment: Kane drops in price from his 2021/22 season starting point, meanwhile Son stays as a midfielder but takes a big price rise. Son is priced the same as KDB in the game and is just £1m less than Salah.

New signing Perisic enters the game as a £5.5m defender. Dier, Doherty and Romero will all cost £5.0m with Sessegnon slightly cheaper at £4.5m. Goalkeeper Lloris will cost £5.5m for the new campaign.

In midfield Bentancur and Hojberg will both cost FPL managers £5.5m, with Kulusevski rising in price ahead of the new campaign. The midfielder will now cost FPL managers £8m the same as the likes of Saka and Foden.

Leicester

Leicester have also announced 11 of their player prices. Jamie Vardy is priced at £9.5m for 2022/23.

FPL Comment: Many FPL managers have been eagerly awaiting the Foxes prices. Vardy in at £9.5m will be an attractive option, especially during the nicer fixture periods over the course of Leicesters season. Other strikers Saka and Iheanacho are £6.0m and £6.5m respectively.

James Maddison is priced at £8.0m with midfield team mate Harvey Barnes £1m less. Barnes will cost FPL managers £7.0m this campaign.

There are also a number of nice £4.5m defenders for Leicester this season. With Fofana, Justin and Ricardo all entering at the budget friendly price.

Crystal Palace

Palace have announced 11 of their prices ahead of the new season. Top goal scorer Wilf Zaha is priced at £7.0m.

FPL Comment: For FPL managers looking to invest in a £4.5m goalkeeper Vicente Guaita will be a popular pick. He alongside defenders Mitchell, Guehi and Anderson all enter the game at a budget enabling £4.5m.

Midifielders Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are both valued at £5.5m, £1.5m cheaper than Zaha.

Upfront Edouard and Mateta also both come in at a budget friendly £5.5m. In spells last season both were good options and could work well as a third forward.

Everton

Everton have released their first wave of prices ahead of the new FPL season. Forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is now priced an £8.0m.

FPL Comment: After an injury disrupted 2021/22 season many FPL managers were expecting Calvert-Lewin to enter the game for less than his £8.0m price tag. However the sale of Richarlison should make Calvert-Lewin Everton’s number one striker.

Midfielder Anthony Gordon has risen by £1.0m for the new season. He will now cost FPL managers £5.5m. He is priced the same as Dele, Doucoure, Gray and Iwobi.

In defence there are some well priced options with Coleman, Tarkowski and Mykolenko all priced at £4.5m. Goalkeeper Pickford also receives a price drop to £4.5m this season. If Everton can sure up their defence there are some good budget options.

Nottingham Forest

Promoted side Nottingham Forest are the last team to reveal their prices ahead of the new season.

FPL comment: Managers will be looking for budget players and Nottingham Forest have plenty of them.

Star player Brennan Johnson was the talk of the town in terms of what position he would come in at this season, the Welshman comes in as a £6m forward. He scored 16 goals and created 10 assists last season so he will be high on many managers watchlist.

Budget defenders Worrall, Mckenna and Cook have come in at £4.5m whilst Forest also provide us with our first £4.5m midfielders in Colback and Cafu.

With these price reveals sat alongside the now-known 2022/23 fixtures, FPL managers can start planning their squads for Gameweek 1.
