Notes

  • My transfers will be confirmed when we receive the line-ups for the first match.
  • I am focused on getting the best players from each team. My budget is more than enough.
  • If Angel Di Maria is fit to start, I wouldn’t mind swapping one of Rabiot and McAllister out (especially if Rabiot doesn’t recover in time).
  • Teams will probably all look the same, I hope to gain rank with the Power Captain chip, as there are not many other ways to take a punt (I’ve got Romero as the most likely to get a bullet header into the net).
  • I could also maybe get one more midfielder from the first game, just because I think we’ll see a very tight final, and a more fun third place bout.
  • Both of my targets, Pasalic and Boufal are likely to be substituted early. This puts me off the move.

Notes

  • I am currently ranked 2.5k in the world. For that reason, I am going for a template team but with a few punts.
  • We have enough transfers and budget to have a great 15 man squad so my focus will be to build a balanced squad.
  • I will definitely have 5-6 players from the third place playoff.
  • In my opinion, I feel in the final both teams score so I am focusing on having less defenders and more attackers.
  • I am looking at Angel Di Maria. He has delivered in more finals for Argentina.
  • Captaincy for the first day is between Perisic/Hakimi/Ziyech.
  • Players I am currently looking to bring in are as follows: – Di Maria – Juranovic – Livakovic – J Alvarez – Hakimi – Enzo Fernandes – Sosa.

@FplToni

Notes

  • I think I have a perfect mix of all four teams.
  • Two centre backs from Croatia because I expect at least one full back to miss the game and maybe even both.
  • Captaincy for first day will be between Modrić/Perišić/Ziyech (need to see line-ups).
  • Second day captaincy will most likely be on Mbappe
  • Good luck everyone and don’t forget to activate power captain if you still have it!

Notes

  • At the moment, I’m planning on going triple France defence.
  • No midfielders in the final take my fancy so I’m happy with the third place play off.
  • I can’t confirm any transfers until I see the third place line ups. Going for my power captain chip this week.
