Transfers and gossip up to August 11th

As the leagues prepare to commence around Europe and the rest of the world, many will be looking to buy, loan or sell players. We catchup with the transfers and gossip up to August 11th with the help of top tier source Fabrizio Romano and other reliable sources.

Overviewing the transfers and gossip up to August 11th can be a huge help for fantasy managers around the world. Whether it affects Fantasy Premier League, UCL Fantasy or another Fantasy game, we look at what the deal could mean for the player or team from a fantasy point of view.

Kane set to join Bayern

Fabrizio Romano stated that one of the biggest deals of the transfer window could be about to happen. All parties involved, Tottenham, Bayern and Harry Kane have agreed to a deal. Tottenham are set to receive €100m plus add-ons of up to €20m. He also states that Kane will sign a four year deal for the German side.

Kane has been instrumental for Spurs and a huge asset in FPL. His loss could mean huge implications, one of them being Richarlison (£7m) – the Brazilian midfielder could become the focal point to the Tottenham attack and thus a better asset in FPL.

UCL Fantasy managers will also be on high alert. The Englishman could be a go-to asset for Champions League managers as he is set to lead one of the most offensively efficient sides in Europe. Kane could become an essential for many UCL Fantasy managers.

Liverpool look to hijack Caicedo

For most of the summer Chelsea have been on a relentless path to secure the signature of Moises Caicedo. However, David Ornstein confirms that Liverpool have reached an agreement with Brighton for a British record fee of £110m.

It is still unclear on where the central defensive midfielder will go but one thing is clear, he is one of the most wanted midfielders in Europe at the moment. His signature would surely increase the defensive capabilities of either Chelsea or Liverpool – making either side much more appealing defensively.

Ramsey set to join Burnley

Fabrizio Romano discussed the situation between Burnley and Aston Villa. He states that Aaron Ramey will join newly promoted side Burnley for a fee of £14m plus add-ons. He adds that negotiations are at the final stages.

This news may come as a shock for Aston Villa fans after Ramsey impressed when he featured last season. Ramsey is a 20-year-old central midfielder who has shown talent from an attacking point of view – in the Championship last season Ramsey scored eight goals and created four assists for Middlesbrough.

Bournemouth continue to spend in attack

We can also see that Bournemouth are adding to their pool of attacking talent. The Cherries have reached an agreement to sign Alex Scott with the package worth £25m = Scott completed his medical tests and the deal is signed.

But who is Alex Scott? GAFFR Fantasy managers have become used to Alex Scott being an option in the game. Scott is a 19-year-old central midfielder who can play in both a defensive and attacking role. He also managed one goal and four assists in the Championship last season.

Alvarez joins West Ham

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Edson Alvarez has joined West Ham for a fee of around €38m which could reach €41m through variables.

Alvarez became one of the most wanted central midfielders in Europe not long ago with the likes of Bayern interested. The 25-year-old Mexican has considerable strengths in ball control and positioning which could help the whole team and their assets perform better in terms of FPL.
