Top 10 Best Strikers in FPL so far

We have arrived at the second international break of the season. With that in mind its time to look back and reflect on the top 10 best strikers in FPL so far. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we pick out the highest scoring strikers in the game.

Taking a look at the top 10 best strikers in FPL so far can be extremely helpful for fantasy managers. Knowing which strikers have been returning the most points can bring clarity to long-term planning, transfers and more.

The Top Five

  • Ollie Watkins (£8.1m) – Aston Villa have been fantastic this season but more significantly in great scoring form. Leading their offensive line is Watkins who sits as the highest scoring striker in the game. His huge 59 points come from four goals, seven assists and six bonus.
  • Erling Haaland (£14m) – The Manchester City frontman may have slowed down recently in terms of output but he had a brilliant start to the new campaign. He sits as the second highest scoring forward so far with 55 points. His returns mainly come from his eight goals, one assist and six points.
  • Julian Alvarez (£7m) – Manchester City’ amazing start to the campaign was helped by another of their talented goal scorers. Alvarez ranks third in the top 10 with 48 points due to his three goals, five assists and eight bonus.
  • Alexander Isak (£7.5m) – The Swedish international has racked up 43 points from his first eight games this season. The majority of his points come from six goals and six bonus. Newcastle have some great fixtures ahead so he could have potential to extend his total.
  • Carlton Morris (£5.6m) – Luton may have had a torrid start to their first season in the top tier but their main man Morris makes the top five highest scoring strikers in the game. Morris has bagged 37 points far scoring three goals, producing one assist and earning seven bonus.

Who else makes the top 10?

  • Odsonne Edouard (£5.5m) – Crystal Palace have had plenty of success this season as three of their defenders make the top 10 highest scoring defenders in the game already. Edouard has been one of their most influential players so far this season scoring four goals, claiming six bonus and totalling 36 points.
  • Yoane Wissa (£5.9m) – Brentford started their new campaign well but their form has fallen off dramatically as of late. That may be but Wissa sits seventh amongst all strikers in the game with 34 points due to his two goals, two assists and five bonus.
  • Taiwo Awoniyi (£6.6m) – Another striker who has impressed so far is Awoniyi. The Nottingham Forest frontman has scored three goals, created two assists and banked three bonus to total a cool 33 points.
  • Darwin Nunez (£7.4m) – Liverpool have also been excellent so far this season offensively averaging more than two goals scored per game so far. Helping the Reds do that is striker Nunez who has collected 33 points after scoring three goals, creating three assists and bagging three bonus.
  • Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) – Completing the top 10 scoring forwards in FPL so far is the Bournemouth frontman and penalty taker. Solanke has amassed 32 points in his first eight matches this campaign. His points largely derive from three goals, one assist and two bonus.
