Press conference round-up

Fantasy Football Scout has quotes from all of Thursday and Friday’s manager press conferences. Head over to the Scout website or Twitter account for the most up-to-date Gameweek 27 team news.

In this round, 17 of the 20 Premier League teams will participate, with Burnley playing twice.

Main FPL team news:

Allan Saint-Maximin

Eddie Howe says a late call will be made on forward Allan Saint-Maximin, who missed the draw at West Ham United and has since been in Monaco for specialised treatment.

“We’re going to make a late call on him – he’s been away getting intensive treatment. We said when he suffered the injury, it wouldn’t be long-term so we’re keeping our fingers crossed on him.”

Vladimir Coufal

Right-back Vladimir Coufal will be out for a few weeks having underwent successful surgery on a hernia.

Gabriel Jesus and Grealish, the main absentees for Manchester City

Gabriel Jesus and Jack Grealish

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that the attacking pair are ready to return for Man City. This extra competition could concern owners of Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva.

Josh King

FPL managers would have been concerned at King’s early midweek withdrawal but he is already back in training, seemingly ok for the trip to face Man United.

Christien Eriksen

Finally, Brentford boss Thomas Frank has said that Christian Eriksen will get some minutes against Newcastle on Saturday. It will be his first match since collapsing on the pitch for Denmark last summer.
