Fantasy Premier League: Predicted Player Points for Gameweek 19

The new round of fantasy football is approaching so we take a look at the predicted player points for Gameweek 19. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can pick out assets with the most potential for the fixtures ahead.

As we approach the new round fantasy managers are looking for the best players to include in their squads. Because of this looking at the predicted player points for Gameweek 19 can help bring clarity to some of your decisions.

Note: At the time of writing Erling Haaland’ injury status is unknown. For that reason he has been excluded from the list.

The Top Five

  • Mohamed Salah – Liverpool have a match against poor promoted side Burnley next. With that in mind Mohamed Salah eases his way to the top of the list with 7.31 points. Many will also be planning to give him the captaincy armband.
  • Kieran Trippier – Newcastle have been one of the best defences in the league this season. Because of that there is no major surprise Kieran Trippier sits second with 5.73 points. A game against Nottingham Forest next could mean huge potential for Trippier who has also managed more assists than any other player in the division.
  • Bukayo Saka – Arsenal have a game at home against West Ham this week. The Gooners have been excellent at home this season whilst West Ham have been shipping plenty of goals. With that Bukayo Saka looks set for a successful week in FPL with 5.66 points.
  • Martin Ødegaard – Arsenal’ superior home record continues to promise potential to their attacking players. Martin Ødegaard looks like he could come close to his teammate against the Hammers this week with 5.28 points.
  • Cole Palmer – Chelsea face meeting with an out of form Crystal Palace this week. Their standout player recently seems to be Cole Palmer. The Chelsea penalty taker completes the top five this week with 5.14 points.

Who else joins the Top 10?

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold – Sixth on the list for Gameweek 19 is this man. The game against Burnley looks like it could be a great opportunity for the Liverpool assets. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been excellent recently which is reflected in his recent returns. That is predicted to continue this week with another 5.12 points.
  • Phil Foden – The league holders will be hoping to get a string of positive results together after a poor run in December. Manchester City could face a tough challenge against an in-form Everton next up. That may be the case but their standout midfielder Phil Foden joins the top 10 with 4.86 points this week.
  • Son Heung-Min – Tottenham have a meeting with Brighton in the round ahead. The Seagulls are yet to keep a single clean sheet this season. One player who looks set to take advantage of that is Son with 4.80 points.
  • Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal attackers are the trend this week as Jesus competes the trio of them this week. The Brazilian has a fantastic opportunity at home to extend his great recent run of form with a total of 4.77 points.
  • Raheem Sterling – Chelsea have a chance to cash in on their expected goals data this week. The Blues face Crystal Palace and another of their attackers completes the top 10. Sterling has returned in half of his last 10 matches and looks set to extend his form with 4.66 points in Gameweek 20.
