Club World Fantasy 2025 is here! Continuing with our team previews, we take a look at the Real Madrid best picks, predicted line-up and team overview.
Knowing how a team could line-up and their best assets could be absolutely key for success in Club World Cup Fantasy.
Team Overview

Real Madrid qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup by winning the UEFA Champions League in the 2021–22 season.
In that campaign, they made a remarkable run through the knockout rounds, defeating PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City in dramatic fashion before beating Liverpool 1–0 in the final. The final was held in Paris on May 28, 2022, and the only goal came from Vinícius Júnior, while Thibaut Courtois delivered a standout performance in goal.
That victory secured one of UEFA’s four automatic qualification spots for the Club World Cup, which go to Champions League winners from 2021 to 2024. As the most successful club in the competition’s history, Real Madrid will head into the 2025 tournament in the U.S. as one of the clear favourites.
If you asked fans, if it was a disappointing previous season they would have likely said yes. Los Blancos finished second in La Liga behind rivals Barcelona, and they were also booted out of the Champions League during the quarter-finals against Arsenal.
Focusing on their end of season form, Real Madrid won four and lost two. In that time they scored an impressive 12 goals, conceded 10 goals and kept just two clean sheets.
Group and Fixtures
Real Madrid will face Al Hilal (KSA), CF Pachuca (MEX) and FC Salzburg (AUT) in Group H.

Their schedule looks like this:
- Matchday 1 – Al-Hilal
- Matchday 2 – Pachuca
- Matchday 3 – RB Salzburg
Real Madrid go into each and everyone one of their upcoming matches as heavy favourites. There aren’t any other sides in the competition with better odds to beat all their opposition.
Predicted line-up

Note: Carlo Ancelotti has recently departed the club, leaving former Leverkusen boss Xavi Alonso in charge.
Top Picks
Real Madrid although not the most convincing side, have three great fixtures ahead. This means they have three good chances to keep a clean sheet.
For those that want to go as cheap as possible then you are in luck. Centre-back Raúl Asencio comes in at a jaw-dropping €4.2m. Whilst the youngster offers little to no threat offensively, and has over 10% ownership, he could seriously help enable funds elsewhere.
Another standout option at the back is new signing and former Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold (€6.4m). As well as being likely to take a share of set pieces including corners and free-kicks, the Englishman has been one of the most offensively successful defenders in Europe during the previous years.

In attack. Real Madrid have some fantastic options. One of them is midfielder Jude Bellingham (€9.3m). The 21-year-old had another great season with Los Blancos – scoring nine goals and creating eight assists in his recent La Liga campaign alone.
The Spanish giants also have two very viable forward options. Whilst Vinicius Junior (€11m) is a very good pick – sharing penalty duty and being a big-game payer in tournaments, fellow forward Kylian Mbappe (€11m) also shares those traits. He also had an better campaign overall than his teammate after hitting a huge 40+ goal contributions.
There we have it, our Real Madrid Best Picks, Predicted Line-up and Team Overview. Will you be picking any of their players?
