Best projected points for FPL Gameweek 14

The new round of fantasy football is approaching so we take a look at the players with the best projected points for FPL Gameweek 14. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can pick out assets with the most potential for the fixtures ahead.

As we approach the new round fantasy managers are looking for the best players to include in their squads. Because of this looking at the projected points for FPL Gameweek 14 can help bring clarity to some of your decisions.

The Top Five

  • Mohamed Salah (£13m) – The Egyptian sits at the top of the list this week with 7.39 points. Salah looks set to make it his seventh return in his last five matches this week. He comes up against Fulham so he will also be a favourable captaincy option for managers.
  • Erling Haaland (£14m) – Manchester City will be hoping to pick up a win after picking up just two points from their game against Chelsea and Liverpool. The league holders will look to Haaland who looks set to pick up 7.15 points this week against Tottenham.
  • Bryan Mbeumo (£6.9m) – Brentford have a great fixture against Luton at home this week. The newly promoted side are yet to keep a single clean sheet this campaign. With that in mind Mbeumo sits third on the list with 6.12 points. Not only has he bagged three returns in his last five games but he also takes penalties.
  • Bukayo Saka (£8.7m) – Arsenal sit second best in the league for goals scored at home which is where they play this week. Wolves lay ahead which could explain why Saka makes the top five. Saka has claimed at least one return in 11 of the 13 matches he’s played.
  • Martin Odegaard (£8.3m) – Its been a tough period for Odegaard recently due injury. That may be the case but he faces a Wolves side conceding some hugely poor underlying defensive data. That explains why the Norwegian completes the list with 5.19 points.

Who joins the top 10?

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.9m) – Our second and final Liverpool player makes the cut this week. The game against Fulham could be a great opportunity to keep a clean sheet. Trent clinched a heroic equaliser in Gameweek 13 showing huge attacking potential as well. The Liverpool full-back sits sixth this week with 4.94.
  • Moussa Diaby (£6.8m) – Aston Villa have a great opportunity ahead. They have a meeting with Bournemouth who have been conceding some poor underlying defensive data this season. Diaby has picked up at least one return in half of his matches so far and looks set to make it a seventh this week (4.91).
  • Ollie Watkins (£8.5m) – Leading the very efficient Aston Villa attack and joining his teammate is Watkins. The Englishman look set to hit 4.86 points in the round ahead. That would make it his 13th return of the campaign.
  • Kieran Trippier (£7m) – The Newcastle full-back sits ninth in the top 10 this week with 4.78 points. Trippier faces a tricky fixture against Manchester United next but he has been maintaining some fantastic assist potential all season.
  • Gabriel Martinelli (£7.8m) – Completing the top 10 this week is the Brazilian (4.69 points). Wolves could be a great chance to turn his form around – after failing to bag a return in any of his last six matches.
