Serie A Fantasy Round 19 Top Picks

We look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 19 top picks. Round 18 saw wins for Milan, Fiorentina, Juventus and Lazio. We also saw a huge clash between Juventus and Roma with a 1-0 victory to the home side.

Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 19 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.

Top Picks – Goalkeepers – Yann Sommer (€5.6m – 24.7%)

No no, this isn’t Deja-vu. Sommer is the first player to appear three times in a row in my top picks. I was about to leave him out just for the sake of variety, but could I really? He is the top scorer in the game for the best defence in the league, facing the second worst attack at home.

Wladimiro Falcone (€4.6m – 7.8%)

Lecce host Cagliari this week, a team that will most likely be tired after the midweek Cup match in Milan. Falcone is a budget (under 5.0m) goalkeeper who is able to keep up with the best scorers in the game. I think he is an underrated pick.

Defenders – Gleison Bremer (€5.8m – 39.9%)

The first Round of the year is very favourable to Juventus. They clash with bottom of the table Salernitana. Salernitana happen to be the worst team in terms of xG. It’s a solid fixture for the best defender in the game at the moment.

Juan Jesus (€4.4m – 3.6%)

With Natan out injured, Juan Jesus is guaranteed a seat at the table and by that I mean a bunch of full 90 mins performances. Di Lorenzo’s low output in terms of attacking returns at the moment do not justify his status as most expensive defender. Because of this I am choosing the Brazilian as the best value pick from Napoli’s defence against a low-scoring Torino.

Midfielders – Christian Pulisic (€8.4m – 26.5%)

Most people would agree if I said Pulisic has been AC Milan’s MVP during the first half of the season. Ten attacking returns for the former Chelsea player which is probably more than anyone had any right to expect. With his substitute Chukwueze in international duty, Pulisic is guaranteed minutes. The American is cheaper than Leao and will have an easy fixture against Empoli.

Adrien Rabiot (€7.0m – 26.2%)

The definition of consistency is six attacking returns in the first half of the season, while he had twelve during the whole previous campaign. He plays in CM but somehow is always at the right place ready to strike (or head) the ball into the back of the net.

Olivier Giroud (€8.8m – 28.8%)

During the midweek Cup fixture against Cagliari, he was benched in favour of Luka Jovic. So, I think it’s very likely we’ll see the French top scorer starting once again during the weekend. With Tomori injured, it could be the right time to double up on AC Milan offensively.

Lautaro Martinez (€11.4m – 61.5%)

We’re not 100% he starts or he get 90 minutes, but, all of the clues seem to lead to him being available for Inter’ home match against Verona. I suggest keeping the situation monitored because there are not many viable strikers in this game and he’s the best one of the bunch.
