Most popular transfers for Gameweek 4

The new round of Fantasy Premier League is just around the corner. Many within the community are already making their moves ahead of the new round so with the help of the Official Premier League website we highlight the most popular transfers for Gameweek 4.

Checking out the most popular transfers for Gameweek 4 can be really helpful to fantasy managers. Whether it be due to injuries, bans, player and team form, the transfers other people are making can help bring clarity to our own decisions.

The most popular transfers in

  • Malo Gusto (£4.1m – Chelsea) – The Chelsea full-back sits as the most transferred in player this week so far with 112319. Gusto picked up a huge 14-point haul in Gameweek 3 due to his two assists and clean sheet and plays Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 4.
  • Raheem Sterling (£7m – Chelsea) – The second most popular transfer in this week is Sterling (80768). He bagged two goals, an assist and three bonus to hit 19 points. in Gameweek 3. With a game against Nottingham Forest next and after a big performance its no major surprise that managers are clambering for his signature.
  • Ben Chilwell (£5.7m – Chelsea) – The Chelsea left-back completes the top three highest transfers in this week with 25921. Chilwell may have picked up just a clean sheet in Gameweek 3 but he is still playing in a left-wing role giving him more chances to pick up attacking returns.
  • Bryan Mbeumo (£6.7m – Brentford) – Mbeumo has started the season fantastically and in fact sits amongst the top players in the game for FPL points. He ranks as the fourth highest for transfers in with (21167). Mbeumo will be looking to continue his top form against Bournemouth next up.
  • Pervis Estupinan (£5.3m – Brighton) – Brighton are another team that offer plenty of excellent FPL assets. One of them is their flying full-back Estupinan who has managed two assists and a goal already. Estupinan sits fifth on the list with 21132 transfers in.

The most popular transfers out

  • Luke Shaw (£5.5m – Manchester United) – The Reds have struggled to look convincing early on and things could get worse with the loss of Shaw. Shaw picked up an injury that could see him out for several weeks. Because of this he is the most transferred out player in FPL this week with 95657.
  • Marcus Rashford (£9m – Manchester United) – The Reds form is also affecting the performances of Rashford and that can be flipped the other way around. Either way, due to form the winger has left 23618 teams this week. He also faces Arsenal this week which could be a tough ask.
  • George Baldock (£4m – Sheffield United) – The Blades have struggled to keep a clean sheet so far. With that in mind and his recent calf injury Baldock sits as the third highest sold player this week (23162).
  • Reece James (£5.4m – Chelsea) – James picked up an injury in Gameweek 1 and is set to be out for several weeks. This is the main reason he ranks as the fourth most sold player this week with 15469 transfers out.
  • Gabriel (£4.9m – Arsenal) – Gabriel continues to frustrate FPL managers after failing to start both of Arsenal’ first two games. The Brazilian centre-back ranks as the fifth most sold player this week (15002).
