GW13 Team Reveal – FPL Differential King

Ahead of Gameweek 13, it’s the turn of FPL Differential King to tell us what he intends to do with his team.

Hi, FPL Differential King. So how did your Gameweek 12 go?

My Gameweek 12 was initially going well and I finished with 60 points but, once again, got a red arrow due to Harry Kane blanking as captain while Mohamed Salah returned for others. This caused a lot of damage.

Are you pleased with your current squad? Who is a player you’d like to own but don’t?

I’m happy with my team overall but face a huge issue. I made early transfers and took an eight-point hit. Next thing I know, Ben Chilwell gets injured. If I had to select a player I really want but don’t own, it’s Marcos Alonso. We all know how explosive he is and has always been a phenomenal FPL asset. With Chilwell out for a while, Alonso looks like a steal.

What are your transfer plans for Gameweek 13 and beyond?

For my early transfers, I sold Michail Antonio, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Andreas Christensen for Joao Cancelo, Reece James and Hwang Hee-chan. These are my Gameweek 13 transfers but, after that, my plans definitely include the likes of Alonso, Joshua King etc.

And finally, what about captaincy?

Even though I have tweeted about always captaining Salah, I was planning on going against him one more time. However, I’ve suffered so many times due to the amount of captain blanks and not putting the armband on Salah. I’ve reached a point where I just have to put it on him. Its currently there, on Salah, and will likely stay be him. If I do change it would either be Kane or Diogo Jota.
