For those managers deciding between a transfer in for Salah or Mane, or where to place the captaincy, the latest bookies odds fail to narrow things down. It looks to be very close between the pair for an attacking return, although Mane is cheaper.

It’s Sadio Mane who has the superior home record in recent games, with just one blank in 8 to go alongside 2 double-digit scores. FPL My Club is planning to give him the armband, it seems to be an obvious decision.

Looking at the latest Fantasy Football Hub comparison matrix, it’s Salah who has the edge over Mane in terms of underlying statistics for the last 7 matches: it might not prevail in reality though.
