FPL price reveals part three!

The last two days have seen the FPL price reveals from 10 Premier League clubs. Today we have seen Chelsea and West Ham reveal 11 of their prices for the new season.

FPL price releases are one of the most exciting parts of pre-season. Todays recent announcements from @OfficialFPL have assigned the following price tags for 2022/23:

Chelsea

Chelsea have released their prices for the 2022/23. Both wing backs Reece James and Ben Chilwell are priced at £6.0m.

FPL Comment: James and Chilwell’s £6.0m price tags will make them both highly attractive to FPL managers. Many managers were expecting James to be priced at £6.5m and so this will be a welcomed price point.

Goalkeeper Mendy has dropped in price to £5.0m. This alongside the pricing tor Alisson yesterday will make many managers consider investing more in their goalkeeper than the normal rotating £4.5m options.

Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are both priced at £8.0m, however Havertz is now listed as a forward. In addition Christian Pulisic is a budget friendly £6.0m.

West Ham

The Hammers have released 11 of their player prices ahead of the new FPL season. Jarrod Bowen has risen to £8.5m.

FPL Comment: After a fantastic FPL season in 2021/22 Jarrod Bowen has risen in price to £8.5m, this makes him more expensive than Mason Mount and Bukayo Saka. He is also a full £1.0m more expensive than team mate Antonio. Antonio enters the game at £7.5m.

New defensive signing Aguerd is priced at £5.0m, the same as FPL favourite Aaron Cresswell. However FPL managers will also be able to buy West Ham defenders Coufal and Johnson for just £4.5m.

Midfielders Fornals, Lanzini and Soucek all enter the game at £5.5m.

Newcastle

Newcastle have been strengthening their squad during preseason. Today’s announcement see’s new goalkeeper Nick Pope priced at £5.0m.

FPL Comment: Saint Maximin has been classified as a midfielder for the 2022/23 season, the will cost FPL managers £6.5m. Bruno Guimaraes is priced at £6.m for the new season.

Forward Callum Wilson comes in at £7.5m this season. Wilson missed a lot of game time through injury last season so a fully fit Wilson for the new season will be tempting for FPL managers at his price point.

Defenders Burn and Schar come in at £4.5m, with Trippier and Targett both costing £5.0m alongside Nick Pope. There could be some great value in the Newcastle defence this season.

Southampton

Southampton are the fourth team of the day to release 11 of their player prices for the 2021/22 season. Captain James Ward-Prowse enters the game at £6.5m.

FPL Comment: At £6.5m Ward-Prowse will be an attractive option to FPL managers. The midfielder has an excellent route to points with his set piece threat. His appeal could increase further if the rumours of a move away are true. Fellow midfielders Armstrong and Romeu are priced at £5.0m with Redmond £0.5m at £5.5m.

Kyle Walker-Peters as well as the rest of the Southampton defenders are priced at £4.5m for the new season. This includes goalkeeper Bazunu.

At the other end of the pitch Che Adams is priced at £6.5m.

Bournemouth

Newly promoted Bournemouth have released 11 of their player prices in FPL for 2022/23. Forward Dominic Solanke comes in at just £6.0m.

FPL Comment: There are some great value picks in the Bournemouth team, none less than Solanke. At £6.0m he will be popular with FPL managers.

In midfield Billing, Brooks and Anthony all come in at just £5.5m with Cook cheaper still at £5.0m. The defence also offers some great value with Kelly, Fredericks and Zemura all priced at £4.5m.
