FPL Community Chatter: International break leads to deep planning

In order to prepare for Gameweek 31, here is a round-up of the best and most interesting FPL community content.

When scrolling through Twitter in the early days of this international break, there is still FPL talk. Come on people, at least take a break! Nevertheless, let’s round up what is being said amongst our FPL community.

Firstly, there was a lot of reflecting over Blank Gameweek 30.

Those competing without a Free Hit chip had their number of participants decimated by the lack of Aaron Ramsdale, Raphinha and Gabriel Martinelli. So there were some teams heavily-reliant on Son Heung-min and Harry Kane’s success.

But it didn’t take long for some to express withdrawal symptoms.

Sonaldo‘s friend is so into FPL that he instinctively thinks Wildcard over World Cup.

Meanwhile, FPL Focal has discovered the fantastic FPL season of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.

Currently around 195k with 1,917 points, if he achieved the Gameweek 1 average score of 69 he’d now be ranked around 64k.

With thoughts turning to Gameweek 31 and chip strategies for the final run of matches, FPLScofield produced a graphic showing which teams will have the most games left week-by-week.

Furthermore, some of FPL Twitter’s most well-known names have started planning out loud.

Andy Martin wants to Wildcard in Gameweek 34, whilst Gianni Buttice was hoping for better fixtures ahead of a Free Hit 33.

Despite the temptation provided by teams with Double Gameweeks, Lateriser warns not to ignore some of the league’s best players. Man City and Chelsea play just once in Gameweek 33 but have generally stong fixtures until the end.

Furthermore, the look at how familiar faces in the FPL community are faring has landed. This time it focuses on Andy from Let’s Talk FPL.
