Buy Sell and Keep for FPL Gameweek 12

The 11th round of Fantasy Premier League is over so we look to the next and look at which players are a buy sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 12. Whether that be through injury, team and player form or other factors we advise the potential fate of assets in your teams.

Looking at players who are a buy sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 12 could be extremely beneficial to FPL managers. Knowing what to do with assets in your team can ultimately bring clarity with transfer use, captaincy and chip strategy.

Buy

  • Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) – Arsenal will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Newcastle last week. Motivation will be high and it’ll be as such going into a game against a poor Burnley defence. Because of that, his penalty duty and his consistency this season make Saka a buy.
  • Gabriel (£4.8m) – Arsenal have also been maintaining one of the best defences in the league. Taking into account the fixture against Burnley and that he’s one of the cheapest routes into their backline Gabriel is a buy this week.
  • Ollie Watkins (£8.4m) – Aston Villa are in a relentless run of scoring and winning form at home which is where they’ll face Fulham this week. Watkins still sits second best behind Erling Haaland for total attempts and shots in box this season amongst forwards.
  • Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) – Brighton face the worst defence in the league, Sheffield United. The Blades are currently producing the worst defensive data in the division and that could play into the hands of Mitoma. He stands out as his sides best attacker and edges his teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement.
  • Kieran Trippier (£7m) – Newcastle are maintaining some of the best underlying defensive stats in the league this season. They come up against Bournemouth next who also rank as one of the worst offensive and defensive teams. Because of that, his bonus point potential and six assists already mean Trippier is a buy for FPL Gameweek 12.
  • Callum Wilson (£7.9m) – The game against Bournemouth could provide massive potential for the Newcastle attackers. With Alexander Isak out due to injury Wilson takes his place as the focal point. Not only does he take his sides penalties but he’s also amassed seven returns this season.
  • Anthony Gordon (£5.7m) – For those looking for a midfielder then Gordon could be one of the best this week. In 10 matches he’s played so far he’s managed to return in a huge seven of them.
  • Son Heung-min (£9.6m) – Tottenham will be looking to continue their top start to the campaign against Wolves this week. Although offensively capable Wolves are conceding some very poor defensive stats. With that in mind Son could benefit. He leads his offensive line and has racked up four double-digit hauls in his last seven games.

Sell

  • Bryan Mbeumo (£6.8m) – Many will argue against this due to his current form. However, he faces Liverpool and Arsenal next, two teams who have been maintaining good defences. There are also plenty of other options to switch him to with much easier fixtures on paper.
  • Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) – Bournemouth are producing some poor attacking stats so far which limits the potential of Solanke. He also comes up against Newcastle next who sit joint best for clean sheets so far this season (five).
  • Chelsea assets – The Blues have some rough fixtures ahead with the likes of Manchester City and Newcastle. Both sides have proven to have two of the strongest attacks and defences this season.
  • Kostas Tsimikas (£4.6m) – Whilst many may have just brought him in the Greek international is clearly a rotation risk moving forward. In the most recent match he failed to start but still featured which makes it even more frustrating. There are also other options available with better gametime moving forward.
  • Phil Foden (£7.5m) & Julian Alvarez (£7.2m) – Both could become severe rotation risks with the schedule ahead and we saw that with the former failing to start in Manchester City’ last game. They also have matches against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham ahead which could limit their potential.

Hold

  • Eddie Nketiah (£5.6m) – Some may be getting ‘cold feet’ in regards to holding onto Nketiah. However, with Gabriel Jesus still out due to injury and with a game against Burnley next the Arsenal striker is an easy hold in our latest edition of Buy Sell and Keep for FPL Gameweek 12.
  • Matty Cash (£5.2m) – The Aston Villa defender may have picked up an injury in Gameweek 11 but if he is declared fit then he’s a hold. Cash still sits above every other defender for expected goals, expected goal involvement and total attempts on goal. He also comes up against Fulham next.
  • Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) – Liverpool may have had a recent blip against Luton in the last round but they have one of the most consistent attackers in the league, this man. Salah has managed at least one return in nine of his 11 matches.
  • Darwin Nunez (£7.5m) – As frustrating as Nunez can be at times he plays for the best team in the league in terms of expected goals. He also maintains one of the highest big-chance rates in the league at the time of writing.
  • Erling Haaland (£14m) – Haaland blanked and picked up an injury in his most recent match. However, rumours suggest that the injury is minor. The Norwegian has better attacking stats than every other player in the league this season so far.
  • Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) – Manchester United may not be the most convincing attack but they have a way of picking up wins against lesser teams. The Reds have a fixture against Luton next which could be a good opportunity for Fernandes to pick up a second successive double-digit return.
  • James Maddison (£8.1m) – Whilst it could be tempting to move Maddison on he’s producing one of the best non-penalty expected goal involvements in the division. He’s also registered a return in seven of his 10 matches played this season.
  • Jarrod Bowen (£7.4m) – West Ham may have lost their last three matches on the bounce but they’re in scoring form. The Hammers come up against Nottingham Forest next. This is a great opportunity for Bowen to bag his ninth return of the campaign.
