UCL Fantasy Matchday 3 Team Reveals

Notes

  • This is what my squad could look like in MD3. I’ll use my three FTs to get rid of the injured Bellanova, Enzo and sadly Mbappe to get in triple Barcelona, as I like their fixtures long term.
  • The rest of my team looks pretty good on paper.
  • Captaincy for Tuesday is between Haaland and Yamal, and will be on Kane on Wednesday if needed.
  • Other players I am considering are KDB, Osimhen, Kounde, Gordon and Nuno Mendes!

@Big4FPL

Notes

  • A great Matchday 2 has my rank up to 16k, as I look for another strong week to get me close to the three digit rank I’m targeting.
  • This week throws a bit of a spanner as there’s some iffy fixtures and some injury concerns in Gnabry and Huijsen.
  • My likely moves, if we get no news on the duo would be Gnabry to Enzo and Huijsen to a day 1 defender (maybe a Barca player if one of the 4.5 starts, otherwise a Dortmund defender is also an option).
  • For captaincy I’m looking at Dumfries or Guirassy on day 1, with Kane locked in for day 2.
  • I’d love some extra Barca and PSG coverage this week, but injuries mean those plans are unlikely.
  • I’ll be open to playing my LL/WC from next game week, so if I can ride out this week with a small green arrow I would be happy.

UCL Fantasy Matchday 3 Team Reveals

Notes

  • As I expected, the two free transfer I have will be needed to address multiple injuries in my squad. Both Huijsen and Thuram are heavy doubts for midweek, so I feel I won’t take any chances and move them away.
  • Inter’s fixtures are by far the best in the whole UCL table, so I want to keep attacking them. I am aware both my defenders are at risk of rotation, but I don’t have the transfers to also address them.
  • Small upside, Thuram’s injury has helped Bonny (a player I know very well from his time at Parma) shine with multiple returns in the last two Serie A Gameweeks. Thuram is likely out for this midweek and by the time MD4 comes I feel like Thuram will be fit for the more important league matchups. While against Kairat rotation will be more likely (hence another Bonny start).
  • Defensively I still want to have a top club defender with ok fixtures, so I’m looking at Chelsea. Reece James is more attacking, but I don’t trust his fitness and Gusto provides competition (especially when suspended in the Premier League). So, Cucurella is the best candidate in my opinion.
  • Captaincy will be on an Inter player on the first day, followed by Olise.

Notes

  • Last MD I got 115 points and a huge green arrow up to 30k, which I’ll take and try to push from there!
  • I’m not far away off using a chip this MD, with too many concerns in my squad. Adeyemi and Calafiori are predicted to be benched in addition to Thuram and Huijsen, who are probably set to miss out MD3 with injuries! I also have bad performers like Xavi and Pote!
  • My potential moves with only two free transfers could be Thuram to Osimhen. Then either: Huijsen to Burn or Pote to Yilidz/Enzo.
  • Captains: Day 1 Yamal/Haaland – Day 2 Osimhen.
  • Good luck everyone and may your arrows be green!

@Super__Saud

Notes

  • I won’t use any chip this week.
  • I want to target Barca and Chelsea players as they have the best fixtures in MD 3-4.
  • I’m still not sure about my moves, but I will likely transfer out Huijsen and Garcia for Milinkovic-Savic and Balde (if he starts).
  • I usually try to avoid making GK transfers but I don’t see Vicario keeping a CS this week and the 0.5m saving is needed to get Balde.
  • Captaincy for Tuesday will be on Yamal.

@hichemillo

Notes

  • MD3 will be a little bit difficult for my team as I have currently 10 players playing on the second day and one player injured (Garcia) who plays Tuesday.
  • Transfer plans: My first transfer could be: Huijsen out for a Chelsea def. I’m not sure on my second transfer just yet. I’m between one of my sporting trio (Pote and Quenda played 120 mins Saturday night) or Garcia.
  • I’ll wait until Tuesday maybe we get some news before the deadline.
  • I really wanted to swap : Vini + Suarez to Masta + Haaland, but it means playing with 13 players, so I decided to not do it.
  • Other players I like this MD: Yamal, another Inter defender, Inter forward, Neto.
  • Captaincy: Day1 – Dumfries/Gabriel – Day 2 : Kane.
