Matchday 1 of the Women’s EURO tournament is now complete and Matchday 2 kicks off with Austria v Northern Island. We look at the top Women’s EURO points scoring players in the tournament so far.
The Women’s EURO tournament and therefore the Fantasy tournament are underway. After the first round of fixtures French international Geyoro is top scorer. She scored three goals against Italy and is the games top points scorer so far.
Geyoro’s three goals as well as the victory for France earned her 57.5 points in Matchday 1. France are one of the favourites for the competition. Therefore she could be a good investment ahead of the second deadline.
Cheslea and Norway winger Reiten is second in the Fantasy standings after the first round of fixtures. She returned a goal and an assist in the opening match of Norways tournament. in that match picking up 38 points for her Fantasy managers.
Bayern Munich’s Magull also started the tournament well. The midfielder returned 35.8 points for her goal and assist for Germany.
How scoring works
In the Women’s EURO game points are awarded for both team and individual performances. This means that it will be increasingly important for Fantasy managers to target players from in form countries.
Teams like Germany, France and England all had their player points increased because of their victories. When playing substitutes ahead of Matchday 2 managers should look to move to the teams likely to win heir next fixtures.
