There’s plenty to discuss in Sky FF! In this article, I’ll review the gameweek just gone and look ahead to the weekend. I’ll also touch on the April TV picks and BGW29!

GW26 Review

All things considered, it was a pretty special week for me in Sky Fantasy. I made one transfer, as planned, on Monday night (Nathan Ake to Jarrod Bowen). The West Ham midfielder came in big time for a 46 point haul as my captain. On Sunday, I was supposed to do Abdoulaye Doucoure to Hwang hee-Chan and captain the Wolves player. However, I’ll be honest, life got in the way and I completely forgot. Luckily, he blanked and now appears injured. When it’s your week…

Aside from Bowen – Ederson, Lewis Dunk, Ollie Watkins and Phil Foden all returned double figure hauls to take me to a total of 131 points. Dunk’s revival is particularly pleasing given he’s owned by less than 50% of the top 1K. He’s returned 39 points in four matches. Overall, I’m up to 137th and looking to push on into the top 100!

GW27 Preview

However, here’s no time to dwell with another gameweek fast approaching. Firstly, captaincy. Saturday and Sunday look fairly straightforward with Watkins playing Luton and Erling Haaland hosting a Man United side for whom Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez look set to miss out. Monday is slightly more debatable, with William Saliba promising passing tier and a probably a clean sheet but Arsenal’s attackers in red hot form. I’m looking to buy Bukayo Saka, if I do then I’ll favour the attacker and chase the upside.

Speaking of transfers, it looks set to be another busy weekend for moves. I could make as many as four as it looks like the right time to move away from Man City and Liverpool. Foden, Virgil Van Dijk and Ederson are on the potential chopping block. I’m also keen to sell Doucoure after his Saturday fixture. On the radar are Saka (priority), Gabriel, Declan Rice, Neto (Bournemouth) and of course Dominic Solanke. If he’s in the team, the latter will 100% come in.

In other news, the BGW29 fixture list was confirmed last night. There are just four matches taking place, interestingly the best captains look like being Son/Toney on the Saturday and Bowen/Watkins on the Sunday. Worth keeping in mind.

Finally, this week saw the first batch of April TV picks. Chelsea have another single gameday so getting Cole Palmer will certainly be required. Liverpool and Spurs also look like being ‘needs’, all eyes will be on Salah’s fitness and Son’s form playing at LW.
