Sky Fantasy Gameweek 24 Expert Team Reveal

With the deadline inching closer we take a look at a Sky Fantasy Gameweek 24 expert team reveal. Fantasy Football Scout contributor @FFScout_Tom comes in to share his team and explain the rationale behind some of his selections and thoughts.

Which defenders should we pick? Which strikers should be making our squads? Our expert could help bring clarity to the decisions you have to make in your own team to give you an edge over your competition with his Sky Fantasy Gameweek 24 expert team reveal.

Another gameweek ticked off with plenty of goals and points! In this article, I’ll review the ongoing gameweek and look ahead to the weekend in Sky FF. Enjoy!

GW23 Review

After a disappointing few weeks, my fortune completely turned around in GW23. Benefitting from two hat tricks was pretty special as Foden and Cunha combined for 46 points! Elsewhere, Watkins (36), Palmer (16) and Haaland (10) all delivered as captains. Brighton also returned to form with Dunk and Groß both picking up returns and tier points.

I made two transfers on Monday night after seeing the Man City. Haaland (C) came in as planned for Saka and Ederson in for Areola. The former was a straightforward one, the latter doesn’t look great after City conceded but I thought the five for two was worth it and it could still pay off longer term.

Overall, I racked up 156 points and moved from 1.5K to 488th – time to properly kick on now!

GW24 Preview

As good as GW23 was, there’s no time to dwell! Moving onto this weekend, captaincy looks pretty straightforward. Haaland (EVE), Watkins (MUN) and Palmer (cry) will take the armband on Saturday, Sunday and Monday respectively. To be honest, I haven’t considered any other options. Those of you with a Liverpool attacker may be tempted to back against Haaland on Saturday but it’s obviously a risk.

Barring any surprise injuries, I don’t expect to make any transfers this weekend. It does feel like a week to conserve after lots of moves in GW23. Monday night does present an opportunity to buy a Palace asset ahead of next Monday’s single gameday. However, that idea is off the table for me with Guehi, Eze and Olise injured. I’d much rather wait and buy an Everton player on the day (more on that next week!).

In other news, the Match TV fixtures have been announced and there’s nothing to massively worry about in terms of tricky single game days. The Bournemouth – Luton  rearrangement is something to be aware of though!

Thanks for reading and good luck for GW24. Remember to finalise your teams and set your captains before Saturday’s deadline (12.30 GMT).

Our experts battle it out to see who will take the differential king title, see who they have picked this week here!
