Introduction
Fantasy football is back in full swing and we are all set to head into a busy February! In this article, I’ll review the ongoing Gameweek and look ahead to the weekend in Sky FF. Enjoy!
GW22 Review
Unfortunately, it’s looking like another disappointing week. As it stands, I’m on a paltry 60 points and down to 1.7K.
The one positive was captaining Watkins on Tuesday for his nine pointer. Elsewhere my differential Brighton duo of Dunk and Groß really disappointed, getting just four points between them. On Wednesday, I swapped my captaincy from Foden to Rodri at 7.28 last night (two minutes before deadline…) which turned out to be a big mistake.
I’ve got Areola and Cunha to play tonight, both have fairly low ownership so hopefully I can clawback some of the damage! I’m going to captain Cunha, Wolves have a great home record and I fancy Bournemouth to score at West Ham.

GW23 Preview
Let’s start with captaincy, Saturday and Sunday are fairly straightforward for my team. On Saturday it will be Watkins against Sheffield United. Groß and Dunk are definitely options and I do expect Brighton to bounce back, however, I think Watkins has the higher ceiling. On Sunday, I’ll give the armband to Cole Palmer for Wolves (H). Chelsea’s home form has been very strong and Palmer is always at the centre of everything. Saka would probably be my back-up option should Palmer have an issue.
I’ve left mentioning my Monday captain for my transfer plans paragraph and you will have probably guessed why! All being well, I’ll buy Erling Haaland for Bukayo Saka on Monday and give him the armband. After 20 minutes last night I expect him to start. If not, I’ll leave it and captain Foden/Rodri again. Getting Haaland remains the priority though and all eyes will be on the team sheet next Monday! Elsewhere, I’ve got no other transfers planned.
Thanks for reading and good luck for the upcoming Gameweek. Remember to finalise your teams and set your captains before Saturday’s deadline!
