Serie A Fantasy Round 33 Top Picks

After some interesting twists and turns in the latest round we look ahead. There are some great fixtures to attack this week. So, we bring in our regular contributor @FPL_Crisk to reel off his Serie A Fantasy Round 33 Top Picks.

@FPL_Crisk has become one of the most respected and seasoned managers in the world. Because of this checking out his Serie A Fantasy Round 33 Top Picks could be extremely beneficial, not just for the round fixtures ahead but also for long-term planning.

Goalkeepers – Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (€5.6m – 18.2%)

Not as pricy as Buongiorno, more pricy but more sure of the full 90 mins than Bellanova, Vanja is the best middle ground from Torino’s extremely well-performing backline. Frosinone at home remains one of the best overall fixture to play, and their two goals in Napoli are not going to change my mind.

Mattia Perin (€4.4m – 2.1%)

Despite Juventus having won only one game in the last month, their defence has performed extremely well. Sczcezsny should be out for the Cagliari game after going under surgery for his broken nose. So, Perin should easily step up. He’s probably one of the best backup keepers in the league, so Juve should maintain their good defensive form

Defenders – Gleison Bremer (€6.0m – 46.9%)

Speaking of Juve’s defence, a double up is heavily suggested. I’ve been on double-Juve for a long time and I’ve been extremely satisfied with the results overall. The Brazilian is also now just three points behind Sommer. He could even surpass him this weekend depending on the result of the Milan Derby.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.0m – 47.9%)

He finally had an attacking return last week, but he’s here for the great defensive fixture against Empoli. As I predicted last week, Empoli would find it very hard to score against Lecce, with the victory against Torino looking more like an overperformance than a sign of change. I think Napoli could also keep the Empoli attack quiet enough despite the absences of Rrhamani and Mario Rui due to suspension.

Midfielders – Felipe Anderson (€9.0m – 14.5%)

The other person who built this article has long story of hating this player in fantasy. He is always trolling him due to very inconsistent performances. With Zaccagni out injured, he’s playing a more central CAM role leading to him becoming more offensive than usual. Genoa are not an easy opponent, but with very few great options in midfield this Round, Felipe Anderson could be a valid punt.

Giacomo Bonaventura (€6.4m – 31.3%)

I’m picking Bonaventura, but he’s actually a stand-in for whathever Fiorentina offensive player is predicted to face Salernitana during the weekend. I’m writing this before the Genoa matchup. Fiorentina still have to face Plzen in UEL, while the following week will see them against Atalanta in the Italian Cup. Salernitana look like the ideal opponent to rotate the likes of Gonzalez, Beltran and Belotti after weeks of consecutive midweek games. So, I would suggest following team news very closely.

Forwards – Lautaro Martinez (€11.8m – 73.1%)

Milan is one of his favourite type of prey. Also, Inter need a victory in the derby to crown themselves Serie A Champions for the 20th time in front of their sworn enemies of AC Milan. As a Milan fan myself, I think it’s bound to happen. Inter have won their last five derby matches with a combined score of 12-1. If you don’t see a “best picks” article next week, it’s because I’ve travelled to the edge of the earth to avoid witnessing that scenario.

Duvan Zapata (8.0m – 18.4%)

He’s been a sleeper pick this season, never going more than three matches without a goal since early December. Frosinone will need to attack desperately to avoid being relegated. But, they struggle away from home and I think they will open spaces for the Colombian to strike.
