- Gabriel – (£5m – Arsenal) – Rumours surrounded the Gameweek 1 deadline of Gabriel being unavailable to start the game. He was in fact available but still failed to start the game due to tactical reasons. Gabriel lost 56344 managers this weekend in FPL.
- Tyrone Mings (£4.5m – Aston Villa) – The centre-back started in Gameweek 1 but picked up a horrific injury which could see him out for some time. Mings lost 42980 managers during the weekend.
