LiveFPL Rank Tiers – Gameweek 25
An inside look into the decisions of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, by rank tiers, using the Live FPL website.
AUTOSUBS MADE
Over 50% of managers were affected by Pep Guardiola’s team selection at Norwich – an even bigger number the higher you go up the rankings. The non-appearances of Joao Cancelo, Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte caused a vast number of autosubs – a selection of blanks from the likes of Tino Livramento, Armando Broja and the Watford strikers. Another popular asset to miss out was Sergio Reguilon.
TOP 10K CHIP USAGE
Not much chip usage in Gameweek 25 although a solid number of Wildcards were activated. Around half of FPL managers still haven’t used either Free Hit chip.
TOP 10K TEMPLATE
Since the Gameweek 23 analysis, there have been three changes to the top 10k template. In come Reguilon, Mohamed Salah and Lucas Digne, as Marcos Alonso, Demarai Gray and Vladimir Coufal make way. Having the front three of Michail Antonio, Emmanual Dennis and Josh King is severely hampering the line-up.
A starting XI with Cancelo, Reguilon, Antonio and Ben Foster benched – with Bruno Fernandes captain – would have so far brought in 44 points.
EFFECTIVE OWNERSHIP IN RANK TIERS
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers are fairly consistent across ranks for names like Cancelo, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jarrod Bowen, with a lot of variation for Man United pair Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo.
