An inside look into the decisions of FPL managers, by rank, using the Live FPL website
On a weekend of no postponements, there were no major FPL benchings either. Eliminating the inactive managers who still had Mohamed Salah playing, the biggest rotation both overall and in the top 10k was Sergio Reguilon. Other defenders like Takehiro Tomiyasu, Luke Shaw and Reece James also made way for autosubs, although only Vladimir Coufal‘s clean sheet at Old Trafford brought any kind of good luck.
More than half of top 10k teams are yet to use their first Free Hit chip, with a slight ripple of the FPL community using their second Wildcard.
Coufal replaces Reguilon in the 15-man template squad due to the aforementioned common autosub, with Josh King in place of Cristiano Ronaldo up front. A starting XI with Ben Foster, Tino Livramento, Marcos Alonso and Demarai Gray benched and King captain would currently be on 34 points, with King still to play.
The EO (percentage of starting XI teams, plus captaincy, of a player) numbers are fairly consistent across ranks for names like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarrod Bowen and Diogo Jota. There is variance for Phil Foden and Josh King.
