LiveFPL: Gameweek 27 Deadline Information

LiveFPL provides fantastic detail regarding player ownership, chip usage and captaincy. As a result, this is what Gameweek 27 looks like.

LiveFPL: TOP 10K OWNERSHIP

With no Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea assets to top this week’s effective ownership (EO) numbers, it’s the unfashionable Burnley striker Wout Weghorst who exceeds 150% amongst the top 10k. Similarly, there is high ownership for Joao Cancelo, Son Heung-min and Armando Broja in a week of many Free Hits.

Weghorst is heavily captained, with Tottenham pair Son and Harry Kane backed on a lesser level.

LiveFPL: CHIP USAGE

Around 45% of the top 10k have used a Free Hit chip this week. However, 13% of these won’t have any more to navigate the big Blank Gameweek 30 – a weekend that currently only has three Premier League matches because it clashes with the FA Cup quarter finals.

As joked about amongst the FPL community, there is very much a template Free Hit line-up that includes a double Burnley defence, double Man City midfield and either Bruno Fernandes or Jadon Sancho.

LiveFPL: GW27 WILDCARDS

Additionally, there has been slight Wildcard usage but expect a much higher number for Gameweek 28.

There seems to be a push for a five-man midfield where having a cheap, regularly-starting striker like Armando Broja offers squad flexibility.
