FPL: Best projected points for Gameweek 11

The new round of fantasy football is approaching so we take a look at the players with the best projected points for Gameweek 11. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can pick out assets with the most potential for the fixtures ahead.

As we approach the new round fantasy managers are looking for the best players to include in their squads. Because of this looking at the projected points for Gameweek 11 can help bring clarity to some of your decisions.

Projected player points for Gameweek 11

  • Erling Haaland – Leading the Manchester City frontline and on penalty duty is this man. He edges Salah this week with 8.61 points. This could be mainly due to the fact he comes up against Bournemouth next who are conceding some of the worst defensive data in the league.
  • Mohamed Salah – Not far behind Haaland is Salah who ranks second best for points this week with 7.22. The Egyptian has the perfect fixture to continue his blistering form as a game against Luton lays ahead.
  • Julian Alvarez – The Bournemouth match brings up plenty of potential for the Manchester City attackers. Alvarez will be hoping to add to his nine returns already this season. The Argentine ranks third on the list with 5.23 points.
  • Trent Alexander-Arnold – Its been a quiet start to the season for Trent – bagging a return in just two of his matches so far. He is the only defender who makes the top five with 5.09 points. Luton lay ahead which could be the reason for his potential this week.
  • Bryan Mbeumo – The Brentford attacker completes the top five this week with 4.95 points. He comes into the game off the back of two successive double-digit returns against Chelsea and Burnley. He faces a West Ham side who rank amongst the worst teams for shots conceded and shots in the box conceded so far.

Who else makes the top 10?

  • Bruno Fernandes – The Manchester United midfielder ranks sixth this week (4.94). The Reds have a game against Fulham who have conceded two goals in two of their last three. Fernandes has been below par in terms of output this season so this is a great opportunity to get back amongst the returns.
  • Ollie Watkins – Watkins looks set for another great week with 4.73 points. The Aston Villa striker has returned in all but one of his matches so far at the time of writing. He has a great fixture against Nottingham Forest who have failed to convince defensively so far this season.
  • Son Heung-min – It may come as a bit of a surprise that Son makes the list this week (4.56 points), especially considering he comes up against Chelsea in Gameweek 11. However, Son has banked three double-digit hauls in his last five games which reflects his top form.
  • Phil Foden – Foden completes the triple up of Manchester City attackers in the top 10 this week (4.50). The midfielder will be hoping to bag a return after blanking in his last three back-to-back matches.
  • Moussa Diaby – Completing the top 10 this week is this man (4.42). Aston Villa have started the new campaign brilliantly and one of the reasons for that is Diaby. The midfielder is playing out of position up front and so far has managed to return in four of his games this season.
