Best Budget Players for Gameweek 35

Fantasy managers have a Double Gameweek this week and to help navigate it we take a look at the best budget players for Gameweek 35 in FPL with the help of underlying data and the fixture ticker from Fantasy Football Scout.

Checking out the best budget players for Gameweek 35 can be hugely rewarding for FPL managers. Not only can it help long-term but finding the right ones with huge potential can contribute towards making gains in terms of rank and mini-league position.

Chelsea

Chelsea sit top of the fixture difficulty ticker this week. The Blues come up against both Aston Villa and Tottenham as part of their double Gameweek. Because of this, investing in their assets could be a top priority this week.

The above works in our favour because most of the Chelsea assets come in with budget friendly price-tags. Between the sticks is Dorde Petrovic (£4.6m), he picked a clean sheet in Gameweek 34. For those looking for a defensive player with more attacking threat then Malo Gusto (£4.3m) has registered five league assist this season.

Heading into the frontline it could be wise to highlight Noni Madueke’ (£5.3m) recent gametime. The midfielder has started the last three matches in all competitions. This could be a turning point in his season as the 22-year-old also scored during that same period. Fellow midfielder Conor Gallagher (£5.4m) could also be an interesting consideration after securing 10 attacking returns this season.

Tottenham

Tottenham are also amongst the top two teams on the fixture ticker this week. They too have a double Gameweek, with matches against Chelsea and Arsenal. Tottenham also have some budget options to consider this week.

Key injuries to Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie may mean many avoid the Tottenham backline. However, for those still interested due to the double then centre-back Micky van de Ven (£4.4m) could be the next best option. The Dutchman recently picked up a huge 11-point return due to scoring, showing he has some goal threat. The injuries mentioned above could also mean we see Ben Davies come into the fold, priced at just (£4.3m).

Just one Tottenham attacker cold be considered as a budget option, Brennan Johnson (£5.8m). Johnson has started five of his sides last six league matches and secured an impressive three goals and four assists in his last 10 games.

More Great Budget Gems

Manchester United come up against Burnley in Gameweek 35 which could bring about potential from both ends of the pitch. Centre-back Harry Maguire (£4.2m) scored in his latest Cup match so could have potential if he shakes off his flag. Alejandro Garnacho (£5m) could be the go-to attacker after hitting five returns in his last six matches.

Luton continue to concede more big chances than any other side in the league. This could give Wolves’ Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.8m) an opportunity to bounce back after recently returning from injury. Although categorised as a defender, Ait Nouri has been playing in a left-wing role.
