When Does UCL Fantasy 2025/26 Go Live?
With pre-season underway and excitement building for another thrilling European campaign, many fantasy managers are asking the same thing: When does UCL Fantasy 2025/26 go live?
In this article, we’ll break down what we know so far about the expected launch date, whilst looking back at previous launch dates for reference.
A Clue
Taking a look at the Champions League 25/26 campaign key dates could be a good indicator as to when the game will launch.
The upcoming Champion League schedule is as follows:
- Matchday 1: 16-18 September 2025
- Matchday 2: 30 September-1 October 2025
- Matchday 3: 21/22 October 2025
- Matchday 4: 4/5 November 2025
- Matchday 5: 25/26 November 2025
- Matchday 6: 9/10 December 2025
- Matchday 7: 20/21 January 2026
- Matchday 8: 28 January 2026
With the above in mind, UCL Fantasy would have to launch before September 16th.

Previous Launch Dates
We looked back at the previous three UCL Fantasy launches. The most recent campaign was of course 24/25.
The image below shows that over at Fantasy Football Community, we published a ‘UCL Fantasy 24/25 is live’ article on August 19th. This was around one month before the competition started.
We then looked back at the 2023/24 season launch. Similarly with that launch, the game also went live around a month before Matchday 1.
The 2022/23 also reinforced a pattern we found. UCL Fantasy indeed launched around a month before the Champions League Group Stage started.
When Will UCL Fantasy Launch?
Taking into account each of the previous three launch dates, and the fact that Women’s EURO Fantasy also launched around a month before it started, we could well see UCL Fantasy launch between August 15th-19th.
