Who has the Best Fixtures in Gameweek 38?

Not sure who has the best fixtures in Gameweek 38? Well, you are in the right place! We take a look at which sides have the most potential based on their upcoming opposition, and we do that with the help of the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker.
Playing the fixtures could be key in the final round to boosting rank and mini-league position. With just two rounds remaining, FPL managers haven’t got a lot of time to get things right, so let’s dive in!
Who sits top of the fixture ticker?

Topping the fixture ticker this week is Bournemouth. The Cherries have had a fantastic season overall – going from battling near the bottom of the table last season to securing a mid-table finish this time around. They even have a good chance to finish eighth this week against Leicester.
Playing at home, Bournemouth come up against a side who have already been relegated. The Foxes have won just one of their previous 10 matches and rank among the worst three sides in the league for both defensive and offensive metrics.
Who else makes the top three?

Perched in second behind Bournemouth is Arsenal. With Champions League qualification secured, the Gooners don’t have much to play for. However, they could be difficult to ignore this week as they visit the worst side in the league, Southampton.
Completing the top three, West Ham take their place in third. The Hammers have been hit and miss all season, and their recent form highlights that – with just one win in their previous five outings. That may be, but they come up against the already-relegated Ipswich next up, which could mean potential across the board for their assets.

Which other teams have good fixtures?

A result for Newcastle this week could secure Champions League qualification, so motivation will be high. Newcastle host Everton, who although sit 13th in the league, have also picked up a win against Nottingham Forest and a draw against Arsenal recently, so the Toffees can’t be underestimated.
Aston Villa are another side hoping to secure a top five position in the league. Back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and Fulham means Unai Emery and his men are well within reach of a Champions League spot. To put them in a fantastic position, they will need to see off an out of form and 17th place Manchester United side.
Brentford have had another brilliant season this time around – well inside the top 10 in the league and looking to cement eighth place. This week the Bees clash with Wolves, who rank among the worst four sides in the division for total goals conceded.
Fixtures with meaning

There are several other fixtures we should keep our eyes on on the final day. The match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest is arguably the most important of them all. The loser could be ditched out of the top five race, whilst the winner should see their place in next season’ Champions League campaign secured.
Brighton are another side in within a chance of securing eighth place. The Seagulls haven’t been as consistent as they would have hoped, but recent wins against Wolves and West Ham could give them hope in a game against 16th place Tottenham.
Manchester City are likely going to also need to secure a result. Not just to chase down third but to end what has been a below-par season on a high. Fulham lay ahead, who have had a solid season. That may be the case but the Cottagers have been poor recently – winning just one of their previous five matches.
