Notes

  • Transfers OUT – Grimaldo, Mašović, Wanner and Breunig.
  • Transfers IN – Raum, Weiser, Bamba and Adamu.
  • Formation: 3-4-3.
  • GK – Labrović (5m – FCA) – Against Leipzig Labrović should make plenty of saves, something he failed to do last MD.
  • DEF – (STAR) Raum (15m – RBL), Weiser (13m – SVW) and Kübler (7m – SCF) – It’s Grimaldo OUT for one MD only. Flying full-backs Raum and Weiser come in to beef up the defence.
  • MID – Wirtz (20m – B04), Musiala (20m – FCB), (STAR) Simons (17m – RBL) and Grifo (12m – SCF) – Aside from dropping Wanner due a formation change my midfield otherwise remains untouched.
  • FOR – Marmoush (11m – SGE), Adamu (6m – SCF) and (STAR) Kane (20m – FCB) – With the form Freiburg are in alongside a tasty home tie Adamu comes back into the side in a new 3-4-3 formation.
  • BENCH – Phillipp (1m – TSG), Theuerkauf (1m – HDH), Chase (1m – VFB) and Bamba (1m – BOC) – Bamba replaces Breunig on the bench due to the formation change.
  • 0m in the bank.

Notes

  • Raum, Olise, and Wirtz are the top three targets on my watchlist.
  • Amiri is the most obvious sell after his red card.
  • Kramaric is also on the radar, which would allow me to shift to a 3-4-3, but that would mean sacrificing a midfield slot.
  • Labrovic might be another to offload, as his predicted points for the next matchday aren’t promising.
  • Last MD was a disappointing one, but I’m hopeful of a bounce back!

Notes

  • It was a solid, yet unspectacular week last week – with my rank remaining around the 250 mark. Not going with Grifo hurt and the defensive assets really didn’t show up.
  • This week has the tough match up of Bayern vs Leverkusen, which with the point scoring system shouldn’t be ignored, given it’s more than goals we get awarded for.
  • Wirtz and Kane will still likely be in my squad (though maybe not star men).
  • Elsewhere, I’m looking to get Grifo or Doan for Stach and looking at other Frankfurt players ahead of their match vs Kiel.
  • Marmoush may get the striker star as a result.
  • 352 or 451 still feels the optimal route for me – though picking the right midfielders has felt the toughest aspect of the game. Simons has underdelivered in this respect but I’m backing him to come good this GW.

Notes

  • Last week was a total disaster for me as I had no Wirtz and Musiala punished me a lot. The Amiri red card spoiled everything this week.
  • I do not want load up on the Bayern Munchen vs Leverkusen game, I have only kept Grimaldo.
  • I brought in Grifo finally for Amiri and GroB for Xhaka.
  • İn defence I have Schlotterbeck for Masovic and in goal I finally changed the fraud Labrovic and got Zentner.
  • Lastly up front I bought Ekitike over Marmoush for Kane. I think that Marmoush could be the one rested after the European game this week.
  • My target is to reach a three-digit rank again!
  • Good luck everyone!

Notes

  • In GW4 I ended up with 3610 points with an Overall Ranking of 2nd, thank you Grifo for the trust I had on you.
  • I have no regrets selling Grimaldo.
  • The team plan for GW5 is to keep the same attackers.
  • I’m trusting Xavi for the last time. Leipzig facing Augsburg is a good fixture to me which is another reason to keep him.
  • My only changes will be in defence where I am looking at Frankfurt and Dortmund defenders, specifically Weiser, but also Gladbach’s top scoring defender, Nico has been brought into our discussions, he is on my mind to transfer in. I’m likely going to keep Kubler against ST Pauli.
  • Good luck!
