Serie A Fantasy Round 6 Team Reveals

Last modified date

Italian League football continues this week so in this article we take a look at some Serie A Fantasy Round 6 team reveals. We brought in some top Serie A Fantasy managers to share their teams, their thoughts and talk captaincy for the new round.

Our Serie A Fantasy Round 6 team reveals could be extremely helpful for both new and existing fantasy managers. Knowing which players our experts are choosing could help clarify some debates and decisions in our own teams.

Note: Our Serie A Fantasy Round 6 team reveals are subject to change.

Notes

  • I don’t need any immediate changes this week, so I am pretty sure I won’t use any transfer unless we hear of some last minute injury news.
  • I am undecided on whether to play Hien or Martinez Quarta, but I’ll decide when team news get more reliable towards the weekend.
  • Captaincy will likely be on a Napoli player, while between the posts I could play Suzuki once more since Cagliari look very wasteful in front of goal (only 1 from about 7 xG).

Notes

  • For GW6 I am not making many changes, I am planning to save the FT.
  • My forwards all have really good fixtures especially Dovbyk who plays Venezia.
  • Given Pulisic’s current form, I plan to captain him in GW6.
  • Defenders also pick themselves given great fixtures for Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina.

Notes

  • Napoli, AC Milan and Roma have the best fixtures this round (they play Monza (H), Lecce (H) and Venezia (H) respectively). So, having players from these teams will be very good. I have five players currently (two Napoli, two Milan and One Roma).
  • My transfer this Round will be a Juventus player, either Yildiz in for Ederson or Gatti in for Coco.
  • I also want Retegui to cover Atalanta players.
  • Captaincy: I am going with Giovanni Di Lorenzo C and Theo Hernandez VC (I always captain a defender in Serie A).

Notes

  • Straight away you can probably see issues, mostly with Soule. I thought Soule would start with a new manager in charge which wasn’t the case and that makes him a problem.
  • Another issue I have is the lack of Napoli defence. If you look at the fixture ticker here you’ll see that Napoli have very nice fixtures in the next four before they get bad.
  • I have two free transfers, and using the ticker, I don’t see many major swings to navigate looking ahead. This means that I could use my transfers to fix a couple of issues.
  • One thing I have played with is downgrading Soule to someone like Thauvin, a player who has proved hugely explosive for Udinese so far. Thauvin would come in and out of the squad but would also allow budget to move Posch out for Rrahmani (the only Napoli defender I can afford). I’m not prepared to make my overall squad depth worse by downgrading Soule to a sub 5m midfielder to allow a move to Giovanni Di Lorenzo who I much prefer.
  • There is a scenario that I just play Coco, hoping he’ll play, rather than buying a Napoli defender. If Coco doesn’t play then Frendrup would probably secure a 4-7 pointer against Juventus on CBI’s. Rolling another transfer and monitoring the Round ahead could be a better move. After all, there is a serious chance I sell Lautaro if his minutes and performances continue to dip. He also faces Torino, Roma and Juventus after this week.
  • Captaincy is going to be split this week. No matter how good the fixtures look from an attackers perspective defenders seem to perform better week in week out. For that reason I’ll be captaining either Theo Hernandez against Lecce or Bremer.
  • I’ll be looking more at a Napoli defender as we approach the deadline so anything could happen if I find a plan I like.
  • Good luck!
