Fantasy5 Picks GW32: Will Lukaku start for Chelsea?

Pick five Premier League players to beat their Fantasy5 ‘points target’ and you could win a prize of up to £10,000.

We love alternative challenges at Fantasy Football Community, so we really enjoy the Fantasy5 game. It’s a free-to-play challenge, where each week you select a player from five matches who you back to beat their designated ‘points target’. It follows the exact same scoring system as FPL but without bonus points.

Get all five correct and you get a split of the £10,000 jackpot prize. Full terms and conditions are here.

In the meantime, we attempt to suggest five successful picks.

Gameweek 32 Fantasy5 picks

  • Arsenal vs Brighton
  • Southampton vs Chelsea
  • Aston Villa vs Tottenham
  • Leicester vs Crystal Palace
  • Man City vs Liverpool

Deadline is 15:00 (GMT) on Saturday 9 April.

Last week’s selection of five got off to a good start, as Jack Harrison exceeded his 6.5 points target by scoring against Southampton. Richarlison managed to assist for Everton but that wasn’t enough, whilst two others blanked and Sergio Reguilon couldn’t even play against Newcastle.

Of the seven to overcome their target, five are defenders and one was the unexpected return of Jarrod Bowen.

Firstly, Nuno Taveres should be the replacement for Kieran Tierney’s season-ending injury. Being replaced at half-time against Crystal Palace wasn’t a great look but Arsenal are facing an out-of-form Brighton, with only one point and one goal from seven matches.

It’s a week of risky picks, as Romelu Lukaku is a result of predicting Thomas Tuchel’s team selection. He’s often on the bench and, with Chelsea’s second-leg versus Real Madrid next Tuesday, is likely to start at Southampton.

Of the Spurs assets facing Aston Villa, the Harry Kane (9.5) and Son Heung-min (9.5) prices are a little high. Therefore, Matt Doherty at 7.5 offers clean sheet potential, plus an attacking threat that has registered six goal involvements from six successive starts.

Although Wilfried Zaha netted on Monday night and seems to alternate his scoring weeks, his price is generous against a notoriously leaky Leicester back line. The Foxes have a big Europa Conference League clash beforehand and could be distracted.

Finally, Man City versus Liverpool. This huge clash tends to have plenty of goals, ruling out all defensive assets. Phil Foden (8.5) has three goals, three assists and 35 FPL points from a trio of previous appearances against Liverpool.
