Book Preview: Mind Games

Ross Dowsett, FPL Raptor, wrote and published the newest addition to the FPL publications when The Mind Game was published earlier on in 2021.

Ross is a Psychologist specialising in Sport Psychology. He applies psychological concepts and theories to FPL and believes that if you teach managers how to play FPL it will transform how they play FPL moving forward.

By this he means that offering advice on things such as who to captain or who to transfer out offers limited help to managers. Whereas by helping managers understand the psychology and rationale behind the picks that ultimately offers a more long terms approach to aid management.
