Due a goal in Gameweek 35
On this Monday afternoon, we’re only seven matches through this Gameweek’s 13. Therefore the duo of Julian Alvarez – without a goal in ten – and Anthony Gordon have the same numbers as last week’s update.
Meanwhile, Diogo Jota‘s goal and assist at Fulham takes him off the list.
Owners of his Liverpool team-mates Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz will have been frustrated by the afternoon at Craven Cottage. All blanked, with the first two surprisingly dropped to the bench by Jurgen Klopp. Yet Wednesday’s Merseyside derby gives the trio a chance to make amends.
A whopping eight names here have achieved 11 shots or more, suggesting there’s some serious underachievement going on.
Kai Havertz has been bought by over 550,000 over the last two Gameweeks but hasn’t continued his goal-scoring form. Five shots took place at Wolves – four inside the box – but he couldn’t exceed three points.
It’s kind of similar to cheap Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz. After netting eight times in the eight matches between Gameweeks 23 and 30, he’s not scored in the last four despite 17 penalty area shots and an xG tally of 1.99.
As for Brentford’s Ivan Toney, he missed out at the weekend because of his ongoing hip issue.
