What to expect from the Gameweek 34 fixtures
With Gameweek 33 underway it’s time to turn our attention to Gameweek 34. With a number of midweek matches to come ahead of the next deadline it will be important for managers to have a plan ready to initiate quickly in the limited between the two Gameweeks. We take a look at what to expect from the Gameweek 34 fixtures.
Gameweek 34 is a normal Gameweek, with all 20 teams just playing the one match.
All of the stats in this article include data up to and including Gameweek 32.
Gameweek 34 fixtures: Arsenal v Man United
There have been 59 previous meetings in the Premier League between Arsenal and Man United. The Manchester team have won 25 of the previous meetings, Arsenal 16 and there have been 18 draws.
The last three meetings between the sides have seen one draw and a win for both teams. In the reverse of this fixture back in December Man United won by three goals to two. Both sides have been in a difficult run of form, with both clubs losing their Gameweek 32 fixtures. Arsenal have now lost three of their last five Premier League matches.

Gameweek 34 fixtures: Leicester v Aston Villa
There have been 25 previous meetings in the Premier League between Leicester and Aston Villa . The Foxes have won 10 of these, Villa have collected three points six times and there have been nine draws.
The last two fixtures between these sides have finished 2-1. Four of the last five fixtures have contained at least three goals. Aston Villa won the reverse of this fixture earlier on in the season.

Gameweek 34 fixtures: Man City v Watford

The Manchester club have won all of the last five meetings between the two sides in the League. When the two sides met in December City won the game 3-1. Indeed in the last five games in the league Man City have scored 20 goals.
Man City have drawn two of their last five Premier League matches. Watford have lost four and won just once.

Gameweek 34 fixtures: Norwich v Newcastle
There have been 17 matches between these two teams in the Premier League. Newcastle have won seven, Norwich have won five and there have been five draws. The last two meetings between these sides have resulted in draws.

Gameweek 34 fixtures: Brentford v Tottenham
There has only been one meeting in the Premier League between Brentford and Tottenham. This was the reverse of this fixture earlier on in the season when Spurs won 2-0 back in December.
Since then however Brentford have signed ex-Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen until the end of the season.
Both these sides are in a good run of form having won four of their last five matches in the Premier League. Indeed Brentford have won both of their last two London derbies against West Ham and Chelsea. Meanwhile Spurs have scored 16 goals in their last five games.

On average Spurs create 2.19 chances per match. In contrast Brentford create 1.19 chances on average, however their creativity has improved since the arrival of Eriksen.
Spurs have kept 12 clean sheets in comparison to seven for Brentford. Both sides kept a clean sheet in Gameweek 32.
Gameweek 34 fixtures: Brighton v Southampton
There have been nine previous meetings in the Premier League between Brighton and Southampton. Southampton have won three, Brighton have taken all three points just once and there have been five draws.

Gameweek 34 fixture: Liverpool v Everton

Gameweek 34 fixtures: Crystal Palace v Leeds
