What the top 10k did in Gameweek 16
Using the popular FPL website Live FPL we can see what the FPL top 10k did in Gameweek 16. We can look at what chips were used, the most owned players, and which player were the most captained. We overview some of the most important statistics during the new round.

In addition, it also gives us a good knowledge regarding ownership, captaincy and much more. Seeing what the top 10k did in Gameweek 16 can also be very insightful and managers can see which players will have a good or bad effect on their rank.
Ownership
Man City striker Erling Haaland remains the most owned player in the game. Not far behind is Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier. He is owned by 97% of the top managers. Man City defender Joao Cancelo also makes the top four most owned players. Arsenal midfielder Gabriel Martinelli sits just behind Cancelo.
Newcastle midfielder Miguel Alimiron has had a huge increase in ownership. Almiron has been in fantastic form as of late. The attacker has managed four returns on the bounce.
Captaincy
Haaland is the most captained player. Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah is the second most captained player. Only 3% of managers captained Kevin De Bruyne.
Chips
We can see that most managers did not use a chip in Gameweek 16. The Wildcard was the most used chip. Less than 1% of managers activated their free hit chip.
