This final gives me EURO 2012 final vibes, with one team way stronger than the other resulting in utter dominance. For this reason, and the fact that as an AC Milan fan I wouldn’t tolerate anything other than Inter humiliation, I’m getting as many City players as possible.
I am picking Ederson and Ake for the clean sheet potential.
I will have the four most attacking midfielders. If Mahrez doesn’t start I’m changing him to Bernardo Silva. Lautaro Martinez as the Inter pickup because we’re only limited to max eight players from a team.
The hardest part will be picking a captain. Haaland hasn’t scored a lot recently, but a final haul could seal a Ballon D’or victory, so I’m probably going with him.
Due to Inter’s compactness in the middle areas, I predict the wingers to have a crucial role, making Mahrez another good pick with a chance to take penalties and a favourable matchup vs Bastoni (Darmian, who plays RCB and who will often face Grealish 1v1 has better statistics against dribblers than Bastoni).

The UCL final is finally here, I assume a lot of managers will heavily back Man City but Inter with their shrewd system aren’t mugs. Inzaghi is known as a cup manager in Italy.
We will be seeing a lot of eight Man City players and three Inter player combos for the final and I am also at the moment inclined to do the same.
Some things that may change based on eventual line-ups are if Mahrez starts I will get him and probably captain him as Inter struggle against pacy and skilful wingers. If Lukaku starts I might get him as well.
Onana remains in goal, knowing full well at least he will rack up some save points.
I see Man City scoring early. I also think KDB will be involved. Because of that he’s also in my captaincy thinking especially given that if he puts in a shift and City win, he’s getting POTM.

Di Marco won’t be my captain; let’s get that out of the way first.
I’m likely to go De Bruyne with his current form.
Whether you think City are favourites or not, we can only play eight players from each team.
My plan is to play Haaland and all four starting City midfielders that play behind him + 1 who is benched.
Inter could be tough to break down and I think one of the subs could grab a goal and they’ll be a differential. In case that fails and Inter cause an upset, I’m stacking my team with their defenders. Ideally Inter win 1-0 and not many people have quad Inter defence playing but if they do concede, I’ve maximised my chances at getting the goal scorer.

Transfers will be straight forward.
I think that City will win so I will be on maximum players from their side.
Bernardo Silva might make way for Mahrez if he starts.
I am stacking City defence because they have better chance of keeping it and Onana is here because he should make a lot of saves.
I have more than enough transfers to have a starting 11 and if Pep doesn’t make huge changes this should be my team.
If we see something unexpected like an Alvarez start I will get him instead of one mid.
