- I’m going to use LL in MD2 so I’m just trying to target MD1 fixtures.
- Other than Sane, I don’t like any premium midfielders so im stacking up with my forwards and defenders.
- A full midfield of budget options is unconventional but they’re scoring goals in teams that are winning games and have great fixtures MD1. Two of them are even out of position as they’re playing up front.
- Riznyk at 4m and playing on a Tuesday and Sommer costing 4.5m in this Inter team facilitates my whole squad.

Notes
- Current draft as it stands. My current chip plan is to LL2. Therefore the team is focused on those with strong MD3 & MD4, not just a strong MD1.
- Triple City, triple Barca and triple Inter make up the bulk of the squad – with a couple of Leipzig players added for similar reasons.
- There may still be a few tweaks pre-deadline (for example if there is news Olmo starts). However, Bellingham, Haaland, Lewa, Kounde and Simons are locked in.
- A couple of words on other players – Sane and Cancelo have been UCL fantasy legends in the past so make the team on this basis. Di Lorenzo is a magnet for recoveries even if Napoli’s defence is a bit shaky post Kim.

- My team is heavily focused on just MD1 as I plan to play a chip in MD2, probably WC more than limitless and thus I have the likes of 2xMan City, 3x Barcelona, 2xLeipzig & 2xFeyenoord & 2xInter.
- Icardi and Thuram are some of my Differentials. I also have nine players playing on the first day of MD1.
- My captaincy is currently on Haaland given the fixture, his form and ownership. However, Lewandowski is really in my thoughts and decision could go down to the wire!

- This is the current draft of my team. I’ve decided to go big at the top and all strikers have home games too.
- I have decided to target ball recoveries a little more in midfield with Tchouameni and Romeu acting as safe floor players who will get me four or five points if any big hitter do not perform.
- I currently have all defence playing on first day with a mixture of ball recoveries and attacking potential.
- The biggest things I would look to do to change my team is trying to get in one more heavy hitting player (Cancelo or Man City player) or target a cheaper better fixture player (Feyenoord or Galatasaray).

- Playing MD 1 as Free hit.
- I am definitely using chip in MD2. As it stands it will be limitless, to give me more time for my WC.
- I have a lot of differentials in this team that I think should do well. I also haven’t seen people talk about players like Di Maria.
- Captains will most likely be Haaland/Bellingham.

- We’re still a few hours away from the first game of this year’s group stage. However, since I will be at the stadium and won’t be able to make any last hour changes, I think I’m pretty much set with this draft unless we get some unexpected injury news.
- I had a shortlist of names/teams that I wanted to target from the start and I’ve been able to fit all but an Arsenal attacker into it. In fact my eight offensive players were all main objectives in my eyes.
- Defensively I’ve mainly targeted Inter with a double-up, because of their amazing Serie A start (1G conceded, less than 1 xGC in each game too). Other players are more there to fit budget issues and to target their good defensive fixtures in Matchdays 1 and 3 (the plan is Limitless MD2, although I think I’m flexible enough to target said Matchday with free transfers should I change my mind).
- Di Lorenzo could be changed to an Arsenal defender or a Bayern defender, but I like how he can get offensive returns a anytime.
- Captaincy is on Haaland (19th) and Kane (20th), but Lewandowski and Bellingham are also very interesting options if I want to play less safe (which I don’t think I will, at least at the start).
