Top 10 Serie A Fantasy Points Scorers 2024/25

The final balls have been kicked and the points have all been totalled up. Here we walk you through the top 10 Serie A Fantasy points scorers 2024/25.

Counting down from 10, we could well learn something ahead of the 2025/26 season, so let’s get into it.

10th – Tijani Reijnders – 236 points

Reijnders had a very similar season to McTominay numbers wise (10 goals, four assists). He took the spotlight in a already-crowded Milan midfield due to the presence of both Pulisic and Leao. He was probably the only bright light of the Rossoneri’s campaign. Now rumours suggest that he’s close to a move to Pep’s Manchester City.

Tied with him, we also have a couple of goalkeepers in Carnsesecchi and Falcone, with Maignan and Meret just one point behind. This shows how much a nailed defensive spot represents the best kind of asset in this game.

9th – David De Gea – 237 points

De Gea was the highest owned goalkeeper in the game, mostly due to a great start to the season. After the first 19 matches he was ranked first despite having missed the first three Serie A Rounds. He probably had one of the most memorable performances of the season in Round 7 vs AC Milan, saving two penalties and bringing home 19 points.

8th – Angelino – 244 points

Angelino was the Roma defender to go over Ndicka for most fantasy managers. I mean, a wing-back who always played 90 minutes is the dream in Serie A Fantasy. What prevented him to surpass Ndicka and get even higher on this list was the fact he was rotated a couple of times when Roma were playing every three days in February.

His attacking returns weren’t that many (two goals and one assist). But, as you know by now, clean sheets are what you look for in a defender and Roma had plenty.

7th – Scott McTominay – 250 points

Who would have thought? The former Manchester United midfielder has taken Serie A by storm, ending the season as Champion and being crowned POTS. 12 goals and four assists are way more than anyone expected, but what made him an amazing asset was the last stretch of matches.

Since Round 32, he provided half of his total returns, averaging 11 points per match. This not only landed him at the top of the midfielders for fantasy points, but also led players to abandon the double Napoli defence which was massively template at that point. A breath of fresh air that helped those who were seeking to climb the ranks late in the season.

6th – Evan Ndicka – 251 points

This one was kind of an underrated pick. Don’t get me wrong, Roma defence has been amazing and we’ve seen it with Svilar. But, not everyone was on board double defence, and those who went there opted for somebody else as their Roma defender. In fact, Ndicka is the lowest owned player in this list (“only” 20%).

Only one attacking return for the towering defender (one assist). However, his incredible stamina and consistency (he played ALL minutes since Round 1) followed by his precision in tackling (only two yellow cards) were the perfect combination to do well at this game.

5th – Mateo Retegui – 254 points

Despite forwards usually ranking as the worst outfield position in terms of Serie A Fantasy points, the top scorer in the League opens the Top five. A tally of 25 goals does not seem like the highest of highs, but the Italian striker can count on also eight assists.

Very impressive, considering he was bought in August as a last minute replacement for the injured Scamacca. He also started valued at 6.0m, but rose up to 7.8m. This was the biggest increase in price we’ve seen so far in the game.

4th – Vanja Milinkovic-Savic – 266 points

No matter the manager, no matter the season, Torino defence somehow always manages to rank among the best in the whole League. Milinkovic-Savic has also proven himself as a top class goalie with many amazing performances and even four penalty kicks saved. No wonder he has attracted the interest of international clubs such as Manchester United.

3rd – Amir Rrahmani – 271 points

Speaking of the best defence in the League, Rrahmani is the last player on the podium. At the start of the season we all thought Buongiorno would be the one challenging Di Lorenzo for that top Napoli defence spot. But, his multiple injuries prevented his momentum and allowed Rrahmani to become the main CB in Conte’s side.

Bremer’s early injury also left a hole in multiple teams very early into the season, allowing for a double Napoli defensive partnership which appeared essential at times.

1st – Mile Svilar – 276 points

After a rough start under manager Ivan Juric, things were looking tough for Roma, stuck in the bottom half of Serie A. The appointment of Ranieri helped them pull off a miracle and end up in Europe against all odds.

Svilar was already a good pick. But, in the latter half of the season his performances skyrocketed, leading to him winning the Goalkeeper of The Season award from Serie A and putting him at the top of the fantasy charts.

1st – Giovanni Di Lorenzo – 276 points

Tied with Svilar, the Captain of the new Serie A Champions has been a must pick ever since the start of the season. No matter who was in form fantasy wise, and despite scoring three goals in the first 10 weeks, he was always at the top, setting the bar for all others.

He only missed one match all season due to suspension and was never subbed in all the other 37 appearances, becoming the most consistent pick out of the (by far) best defence in the League.
