The global 2023/24 FPL winner has been revealed
With the 2023/24 Premier League season all over, we can now reveal who is officially the worldwide FPL winner.
Congratulations to Jonas Sand Låbakk, who follows the likes of Ali Jahangirov, Jamie Pigott and Michael Coone in being named the FPL champion.
In truth, it wasn’t really in doubt going into the final day. The Norwegian was 46 points ahead and extended it to finish 51 ahead of Euan Thompson and a further 10 clear of third-placed Ashley Marsh.
Completing the top five are Sundeep Jaswal and Ibrahim Albawardi. Well done to you all on such brilliant campaigns!
Jonas has been top since Gameweek 34, thanks to a successful Bench Boost not long after his Gameweek 30 Wildcard. Only three times did he spend four points on a transfer.
Funnily enough, his final purchase immediately reversed the Gameweek 37 sale of Bukayo Saka to Anthony Gordon. Only to discover that neither took part on the last day.
So while Jonas has secures his place in FPL history, the rest of us can now dust down, reflect and aim to become his 2024/25 successor.
