Serie A Fantasy teams with the best fixtures
Italian Club Football is edging closer to its start. Because of this we take a look at the Serie A Fantasy teams with the best fixtures. Serie A Fantasy expert @FplRossoneri comes in to pick out teams to invest in as fantasy managers look to plan for the season ahead.
Looking at Serie A Fantasy teams with the best fixtures can be really helpful as the new campaign approaches. Knowing which teams to invest in can help with things like building our first drafts and long term planning.
Napoli SSC
The reigning Serie A champions have got a relatively good set of opening fixtures with only the
third Round match against Lazio that can be classified as “difficult”. Napoli start the new campaign against newly promoted Frosinone. This bodes well for last season’s stars like Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia.
They will also face the likes of Sassuolo, Genoa and Bologna in the first five Rounds. This could indicate getting at least one or two Napoli players a wise move for Serie A Fantasy managers.
Juventus
The 36 time Serie A Champions Juventus also have a favourable start to the new season. The only “tough” fixture on paper they face looks like their Round 4 match against Lazio. Juventus will play the likes of Bologna, Empoli and Sassuolo in the first five Rounds.
Juventus start their new campaign with a trip to Udine where they will play Udinese in Round 1. In my opinion, getting in players like Danilo right from the start could be a great move. This is because Juventus do tend to keep a lot of clean sheets and that coupled with great initial fixtures, it could turn out really well for managers who back Juventus early especially in defence.
AS Roma & Inter Milan
Both AS Roma and Inter have relatively similar fixtures in the first five Rounds, both have one “difficult” fixture on paper in five GWs. Both Roma and Inter will face Milan in consecutive weeks in GW3 and GW4 respectively, given Inter’s recent dominance over Milan, their fans could even argue it is an easy fixture.
Outside of that Roma will face the likes of Salernitana, Hellas Verona and Empoli and Inter will face Monza, Cagliari and Empoli as well at the start of the new season. Both also have great fixtures in GW1 against Salernitana and Monza at home. Players like Lautaro Martinez, Fede Dimarco, Ibanez (if he stays at Roma) and Smalling could all be good shouts given the initial fixture spread.
