Serie A Fantasy Round 33 Expert Team Reveal

Here we bring in one of our regular contributors to provide you with his Serie A Fantasy Round 33 expert team reveal. @FPLReaction is back to reveal his team and share his plans around transfers and captaincy whilst Nick enjoys his break.

With Serie A Fantasy Round 33 on the horizon it could be hugely beneficial to catch up with our expert. His knowledge and decisions could be extremely enlightening to other fantasy managers. This same knowledge could help bring clarity to some of the choices we have to make in our own teams.

Introduction

Hey guys, as mentioned I’ll be covering Nick this week whilst he enjoys his holiday. Here I will talk about my squad, discuss my team for the round ahead, and cover factors like transfers and captaincy.

I hit 78 points in the last Round which helped me to a slightly green arrow up to 380th. It’s tough at this rank point, I think I have flip flopped between 300-400th for most of the season. The goal is at least to get into the top 1% which is around 320th.

We have some nice teams to buy into this week. Juventus, Napoli, Torino and Fiorentina all have great fixtures. We also have some tough matchups to avoid potentially with Roma facing Bologna, Genoa facing Lazio and Milan up against rivals Inter.

Team Reveal for Round 33

Notes

  • I think, at the time of writing we are yet to hear anything around Fiorentina and Atalanta’ upcoming double Gameweek. It will come regardless, so I think prioritising transfers for those teams could be idea.
  • Although my overall team doesn’t look great this week, there seems to be a lot value in simply waiting. At the time of writing the Europa League and Europa Conference are yet to play. This of course has huge implications on teams like Milan, Roma, Atalanta and Fiorentina.
  • When it comes to players I want, I am looking at Nicolas Gonzalez (as underwhelming as he has been this season. His fixtures are very good and has the double coming up). But, I need to monitor his Europe playing situation as mentioned above.
  • Another player I will be closely monitoring is the in-form Gianluca Scamacca. Interestingly, he has two great fixtures when Osimhen has two questionable ones. So, that could be a move next week. Although, that would lock me into Atalanta double attack, blocking a defender move.
  • For me, you have to be targeting Fiorentina and Atalanta, their schedule is insanely nice.
  • I think if Milan progress against Roma in Europa then Pulisic (Milan attackers) could be a sell. They release lots of budget and release a midfield or forward slot.
  • I think I’m going for Turati ahead of Sommer. However, Sommer is an ownership shield so that could change.
  • Soule has become a liability, Colpani could still make the starting line-up and Zirkzee has also been questionable recently. For now, they remain on the bench.
  • My captain will be either Osmihen, Koop or a Juventus centre-back.
  • Good luck this week!
