Serie A Fantasy Round 15 Top Picks

We look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 15 top picks. Round 14 saw wins for Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Roma and Torino. We also saw a big clash between Napoli and Inter with the latter claiming a huge 3-0 victory away from home.

Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 15 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.

Top Picks – Goalkeepers – Lukasz Skorupski (€5.0m – 14.7%)

He remains on this list this week. He conceded against Lecce but only due to a last minute penalty, and after surpassing the 100-points mark, a game against Salernitana is very favourable.

Michele Di Gregorio (€5.4m – 6.6%)

His penalty save against Juventus wasn’t enough to lead Monza to a victory. Genoa is going to be a much easier fixture defensively, especially because Monza are playing at home for the second consecutive week.

Defenders – Federico Dimarco (€6.2m – 36.6%)

On Sunday he managed to get a full 90 minutes game for the first time this season, mainly due to the fact most defenders were injured and his backup Carlos Augusto was put at LCB. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a repeat at home against Udinese.

Jeremy Toljan (€4.6m – 2.2%)

Ok, Sassuolo are awful at defending. But, the former Dortmund player has so much more to offer. He is going under the radar because he’s already managed to provide five assists this season and is as nailed as you can get. Sassuolo have some decent fixtures ahead so if there’s room for improvement the time is now.

Midfielders – Andrea Colpani

Colpani has a great fixture where he can absolutely get back on his previous form. Despite his minutes never reaching the full 90, he had a great chance against Juve and is pretty consistent with is returns!

Even in a tough Round, he manages to find a way to return. He now also leads midfielders in terms of points. I would consider him the best premium option of his kind at the moment.

Matias Soulé (€4.6m – 8.9%)

I find it incredible that this man has risen only once in price. His xGI stat is second only to Kvara’s for midfielders. Torino, despite not being a team who concede a lot, still feel like a fairly beatable opponent right now. Also, with Cheddira finding less space as centre-forward, Soulé has a higher chance of taking penalties.

Forwards – Marcus Thuram (€7.0m – 21.3%)

11 goal involvements in the first half of his debut Serie A season is nothing to be laughing about. Even people like me, who appreciated him a lot during his Ligue 1 and Bundesliga runs, were not expecting this good of an impact. At his price he’s a steal, especially with most forwards not keeping up with the rest of the game.

Joshua Zirkzee (€5.0m – 20.2%)

It’s very strange that he’s yet to rise in price. The same arguments I made for Thuram can be made for Zirkzee. He is extremely cheap and affords you to maximize on value. I would say he’s a must-have for people on wildcard.
